࿐ A Strange Wedding (live) returns to Refractor.
French DJ, producer and trained sound designer based in Marseille, he is known for crafting mesmeric sonic journeys that unfold across shifting tempos and textures. His music blends polychromatic influences into a singular, cosmic framework, where experimental bass music meets the most psychedelic edges of techno.
With a deep focus on sound design, he sculpts frequencies into evolving narratives, opening subtle breaches in space and time. Each set becomes an immersive passage, stretching between inner worlds and unknown territories.
His work has been released on labels such as useless seconds, Biofield and Mama Told Ya, and he plays a key role in the French scene as a founding member of the useless seconds collective and resident of the memòri project, both platforms dedicated to electronic music as a narrative, immersive experience.
A Strange Wedding continues to shape unique sonic universes, guiding listeners through carefully constructed journeys, whether behind the decks or in live performance.

A founding member of the collective, the artist behind our very first release, and to this day quite simply our favorite live set. This one feels like coming full circle.
Now based in Berlin, Adrien crafts mesmeric sonic journeys where experimental bass music meets the most psychedelic edges of techno. A master of sound design, he sculpts frequencies and textures into evolving narratives, opening subtle breaches in space time and inviting listeners into deep, immersive inner worlds.

It’s been a long time since my last post on the subject but this new milestone feels appropriate. Few days ago I had my sobriety anniversary 🤍
I’ve always viewed this journey as very personal, and it’s never easy to put this experience into words. But I know I’m not alone with my struggles, especially within our scene. I’m sharing this in case it resonates with someone who might need it.
It was never about being « ready » or feeling confident, i dont think anoyone ever is. It was simply about being willing to try. The path hasnt been easy. I carried so many worries. Would I still be creative? How would my friendships change? Would I still be relevant in the music world?
You often go into this expecting an immediate reward, life in 4K, all sunshine and flowers. Bu the real reward is much deeper and more sublte. It takes time to realize what youve truly gained, better health, less anxiety and more authentic connections. Most of all, the quiet pride in yourself.
To my inner circle and everyone who has supported me: thank you. I couldn’t have done this without you. A huge thank you to my friends who surprised me for my anniversary and brought a abundance of alcoholfree drinks, and to my love for organizing it all 🤍
I always find these year-end recaps a bit strange to write at a time when the world feels increasingly unhinged, as we are witnessing far right taking over the West.
Still, in the midst of this all, music has remained my place of refuge. I was lucky to cope through sound and to contribute to some amazing projects with passionate people.
