Still in a state of delirium & giddy joy from a most epic week at the 2024 MIFF ACCELERATOR LAB; an entire week of deep film immersion with some of the most beautiful filmmakers and industry practitioners around. Thank you @melbfilmfest for welcoming us with such warmth into the MIFF family, for nourishing our souls and our bellies and for generously granting us the most decadent marathon of non-stop film screenings, film chats, more screenings, Q&As, even more screenings and sleep deprivation. I am completely overwhelmed with love for all the heart-led filmmakers with whom I got to spend this glorious week. You’ve each stolen a piece of my heart and I’m so excited to watch the magic play out in each of your ongoing cinematic journeys.

Last week I got to stand alongside these two divine beings, both brilliant artists in their fields. Together the three of us had the honour (and nerve wracking task) of presenting our moving image concept to the panel of curious eyes for the AFF EXPANDlab $100,000 Samstag commission. I can’t express how delicious it is to be in collaboration with these two gems. Every moment of research and deep diving down a plethora of rabbit holes is so satisfying with the both of you, your scrumptious brains, your wit, your sass, you heart and mind blowing talent. Thank you ladies. And thank you @adlfilmfest & @samstagmuseum for providing the opportunity for this union to have come into being. We feel so fortunate. 🙏
