A couple of weeks ago we launched the 2026 History Festival program with South Australiaâs media right in the heart of Rundle Mall with an event that perfectly embodied this year's theme: connection.â
â
We led the concept, management, and execution, bringing together Mandy Hall who curated a menu from Don Dunstan's 1976 Cookbook which was executed perfectly by Hotel Richmond Head Chef RJ Pascual and Arvin Jay, Nathan James Crane who beautifully interpreted the festivalâs theme designing the table centre pieces and MC extraordinaire Katie Spain. The menu moved across Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Mediterranean â honouring Dunstan's legacy of championing migrant communities' flavours as essential to South Australian identity.â
â
It was perfect timing to honour Rundle Mallâs 50th anniversary and also celebrate the 100th anniversary of Don Dunstanâs birth. To sit together in the middle of Rundle Mall, surrounded by the everyday rhythm of the city, was a reminder that connection happens in real life, in public spaces, over shared meals.â

Degrees of Impact was designed as a narrative-led publication for the University of South Australia, capturing 35 years of impact through stories, conversations and artefacts rather than a linear history.â
â
Built around a dialogue-driven structure and a three-part framework of people, projects and pathways, the design balances bold typographic expression with clear legibility, layered imagery, and a restrained use of UniSA blue. The result is a tactile, journal-like object that feels collected, human and intentionally unpolished - more reflective of lived experience than institutional record.â
â
Thanks to @nathanjamescrane for the trust, creativity and conversations.
This yearâs Festival shines a light on South Australians who live and embody connection every day, featured on the printed program covers captured by acclaimed local photographer Henry Trumble and campaign video by Channel 44.
Meet Sobia and Irfan Hashmi, who have spent two decades building community through healthcare and cultural celebration; Raphael Thomas, a Luritja Wambaya man who carries connection across generations; Esther and Matt Johnson, partners in life and business preserving the 108-year legacy of Ditters Nuts; the Hon. Ian Hunter MLC, who rebuilt connection through chosen family and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ communities; Maria, Tom and Marguerite from Birdwood; and the Hugh Hamilton wine family, representing six generations deeply rooted in South Australian soil.

Four years. Four themes. One identity.â
â
Since 2022, we've been working closely with the team at South Australia's History Festival â managing the brand, website, publicity, creative direction, and social media across one of the state's largest community events featuring 550+ events throughout May.â
â
Our design approach centres around an underlying grid and brand architecture that acts as an anchor, allowing us to vary the creative expression each year in response to the theme while remaining unmistakably History Festival. The strategic use of colour defines each festival year â creating distinction without losing continuity.â
â
Paired with the design system, our imagery and creative direction bring it to life â celebrating the people and stories behind history.â
â
Programs for the 2026 Festival are out now at Drakes Supermarkets.

With Adelaide Fringe finishing up this Sunday, if you haven't had the chance to catch ...Earnest at Gluttony - now's the time. Five star reviews keep coming in - you never know who you might spot on stage... :)
We were thrilled to work with the She Creates committee to develop their new brand identity - to support its mission of elevating women in the creative communications industry. The concept centres on rising from invisibility to visibility, reinforced through language and visual cues of lifting and elevation. A flexible logo system allows the mark to shift in orientation and placement while remaining recognisable across applications, while a dynamic colour palette creates varied combinations that reflect the creative diversity of the She Creates community.
Proud to be working with Dom, farmer and owner of @pundi.au â a proudly South Australian brand crafting award-winning bitters and ready-to-drink cans from organic, native botanicals farmed on Ngawait Country in the stunning Riverland.â
â
We partnered with Pundi to evolve their brand and packaging â looking after the brand identity, refreshed label designs, new RTD cans and website. The project centred on elevating 'Pundi' â meaning 'little mouse' â as the hero of the brand, with typography and design details inspired by craftsmanship and natural forms that celebrate indigenous ingredients and create a cohesive, contemporary presence across the range.
Fringe season is in full swing and we are here for it. The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind working alongside the double Emmy Award-winning @theshamrocksofficial - one of the most exciting acts to hit Adelaide this year. Two weeks left to catch them. Trust us, you don't want to miss this.
