Excited to share that “Nasty” just received a VMA nomination for “Best Trending Video” 🏆 Thank you to director @jonahaber for having me on board to shoot this video. Growing up watching the awards on TV, it feels surreal to see our video amongst some of the biggest videos of the year - but it feels even more special getting this one with a long time friend and collaborator. Sudan Archives “Dead” music video for director @jonahaber . Working with Jonah is always a treat, but this one was exceptionally special. This project came together through sheer resourcefulness, soldering our lasers by hand, pushing setups to their limits, and working with a team willing to take on more than their share. This beautiful coming togetherness is what makes working in film so rewarding. “A BREED APART” - my third feature film, shot this for director duo @adambelanger  @davidalafontaine ! “A Breed Apart” follows an English cattle breeder and his 9-year-old son struggle to connect while settling in 1850s Canada. We built a full two story 1800’s log house cabin, a barn and full farm pasture just for this film. It was super awesome getting a chance to design a full standing set from the ground up - to our specs/needs. Screening at Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto, this Saturday at 3pm at the @canfilmfest ! This film was a labour of love, shooting the cold fall, in North Bay, Ontario where we lived for a couple of months. Excited to finally share some stills from this film. @simpleplan  - “Nothing Changes” performance video for their documentary film “Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd”. Had a great time working with director @ericrichards and the team over at @madebyplot on this one. This felt like a throwback to my teen years. Always a blast shooting on the volume wall, this time embracing the full wall as is. We even got a chance to patch in our camera into the wall for an in camera tunnel effect. Eric Prydz - “Holosphere 2.0” visual tour elements for director @gmunk and creative director @_punkette ! Shooting 360 degree field of view video elements for a gigantic LED sphere was a fun challenge, and quite technical. I’ve always wanted to shoot tour visuals for an artist and was so excited by the idea of shooting something for a different format than I was used to. Eric and his team, wanted to do something that was never done before. “Holosphere 2.0” is one of the most ambitious live production concepts in electronic music history. As a 10-metre double-sided transparent LED sphere. 276m² of screen surface, 806,000 pixels with an inner and outer layer. Essentially a 360 degree volume wall sphere. It was an honour to be a small part in this insane feat. Special thanks to @ericprydz  @_punkette  and the entire team over there, you are all wizards. Made with amazing people and lit entirely by lasers only - @enternull  @precisionlasers  @hummingbirdcontent  @enternull @kittymcnamee  @mattwassong @iamthelaser . Filming crystal orbs, plasma balls, and shooting lasers at glass spheres in 360 degrees at a studio in LA, it felt like a day of shooting science experiments. The team then mapped and stitched the footage into the immersive holographic environments. “Holosphere 2.0” premiered in Ibiza this past summer (footage from the show above) and hopefully soon, will be coming to a city near you!

Shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro Max - “Post Cards from Puerto Rico” 🤳 Shot this little video on a 2h walk a few weeks back in San Juan, as a test to see the new iPhones capabilities. Least to say I was pretty blown away by the dynamic range, stabilization, optical compression and Pro Res Log on such a tiny little sensor. It’s incredible how much technology has advanced and the power of our every day devices. I’ve always wanted to shoot a “shot on iPhone” campaign, so here’s to manifesting. Hopefully this inspires you to go out and shoot something too! #cinematography #shotoniphone #puertorico

“The Boy In The Woods” is now officially streaming on Paramount Plus and Apple TV. Very proud of this film, the team behind it and the incredible true story of Maxwell Smart who the film is based on. Filmed in North Bay Ontario, set as eastern Europe Poland in the 40’s. This was surely a challenge but taught me that with some creative framing, movie magic and team work, anything is possible.
