Excited to wrap up and soon share a short film written / directed by myself and stitched together with friends and love. Here’s a few stills. The intention was to explore our relationship to silence and how we fill it, use it, and project into it. Made with pennies and favors, I wanted to also experiment with a Dogma95-esque style , shooting on a 95$ mini dv with minimal everything. It was a quick labor of love. One of my favorite shots I’ve been a part of with the truth machine that is @tracelysette . @katearizmendi painted the hell out of this film a couple years back. I had to covertly run behind camera and crew mid-take and settle again before it pivoted into a beautifully composed two shot. I think this was our first crack at it. Reminiscing today on collaborations that have inspired whilst seeking more.
