Sharing our computer vision system design for TRON: Ares. We approached these shots from the perspective of the machine. The frame becomes a field of observation. Every pixel is potential information waiting to be interpreted. The process begins by squarepacking the live action plates, dividing the image into a computational lattice. Once the grid exists, the system begins to read. Targets emerge. Motion vectors form. Signals ripple through layers of analysis. Inside these overlays lives the source code of the system itself. Streams of logic, fragments of instruction, the internal language of the machine. At times the imagery dissolves directly into that code, as if the world itself is being rewritten from within. Visual information collapses into structure, then reconstructs again as data. Scanning pulses move across the frame. Timers react. Coordinates lock. Each layer is part of a larger ecosystem of perception, constantly processing, evaluating, and iterating. The goal was maximum detail and living systems. For Art Basel, I created a drifting light phenomenon for Rivian, drawing from the Aurora Borealis as a living architecture of light. The Rivian R1 sits directly in the sand, surrounded by dunes, fog, and a field of moving laser light. Ten high-power lasers sweep through the atmosphere, forming layered bands of teal and violet that echo the vertical depth and presence of the northern lights, translated into something grounded, physical, and immediate. Light behaves like weather, gathering and dispersing around the vehicle as if drawn to it. Bringing a laser installation into an outdoor beach environment introduces constant variables. Wind reshapes the atmosphere, tides and weather influence positioning, and mapping precision has to adapt in real time. Add a moving crowd and an open public space, and the installation becomes less of a fixed object and more of a living system. Rather than resisting those conditions, the work is designed to absorb them, allowing the environment and the people within it to actively shape the light. That unpredictability is what gives the piece its charge. At its core, this work is about translating invisible forces into something you can feel. Electricity, motion, air, and human presence fold into a single living moment. I want people to step inside the light and feel that quiet sense of awe that comes with witnessing the northern lights for the first time. A fleeting alignment of energy and atmosphere. A second presence emerges inside the first. Not a copy, but a misalignment. Motion repeats with latency. Gestures echo themselves. The body begins to behave like a signal being processed twice, its coherence slowly eroding as layers drift out of phase. Projected onto the Holosphere, unity fails. Faces slide out of alignment. Limbs overlap and recombine. The human collapses into a digital mannequin, smooth and neutral, suspended between execution and awareness. What remains is no longer a person, but a construct caught mid-render. Identity fractures into parallel states. Memory becomes procedural. The self no longer exists as a subject, but as a process. A looped execution searching for an origin that no longer exists. Inside the sphere, the image stops depicting a body and begins exhibiting behavior: recursion, hesitation, self-reference. The system does not know who it is, only that it is running. Swirling beneath glass, arcs of light branching like roots from a star, each filament snapping into new trajectories whenever an external force enters its collision radius. It’s electricity as instinct — a charged organism reacting to interference, reorganizing itself with the sensitivity of something alive to its own physics. Through the macro lens, the Promethean Flame stops feeling like a device and becomes a micro-cosmic engine: plasma storms folding around invisible signatures, currents tightening into bright, muscular lines before dissolving back into a haze of blue ionization. The entire field behaves like a particle collider trapped in miniature — collisions, arcs, recombinations, all happening at the speed of voltage. Mapped to the Holosphere, that restless intelligence becomes narrative. The flame bends to rhythm, snaps with impact, exhales between beats — a fire-heart syncing to the architecture of the track. Death of Kings, Rise of Code lives on the pages of The History of Bitcoin — a collector’s edition chronicle built by 128 artists, craftsmen and archivists converging to summon the myth of the chain. This image caught the moment when crowns collapse and data ascends. Skulls of the old world disintegrate into Bitcoin’s source code and the laser gaze of vision becomes the sovereign. My submission isn’t just illustration — it’s prophecy, ritual, proof of the shift. And the deeper I went into building it, the more the process revealed itself as a foundation. Code as pigment. Glyphs as structure. Data as the very fabric of image making. This piece became a catalyst for everything that followed, a signal for how much more there is to explore when imagery begins to breathe in code. A crystalline moon ascended over Ibiza. Born from a 65-pound quartz crystal, lit by scanning lasers until it fractured into galaxies that bloomed within. Bound to a thirty-foot sphere, the illusion breathed with impossible depth, a celestial body suspended above thousands, entranced beneath its orbit.
