Email is Dead — an exhibition at the Design Museum that explores how email helps shape culture, prompting wider conversations about the future of communication and capturing a 360-view of the feelings and reactions that the format evokes. We invited visitors to consider the look, feel, sound, and even the smell of email. The exhibit featured everything from the Queen’s first email to the origins of Airbnb, a bespoke ergonomic chair best suited for reply alls, to an email personality test — these are just a few of the playful ways we celebrated email. Special shouts to our partners @somethingspecialstudios , @designmuseum , and @olear.studio for the custom scent, Eau du Email. Together with @buck_design we made a book for @mailchimp ’s 21-year-anniversary, celebrating our teamwork, our differences, and our people. It’s a reminder of who we are, how far we’ve come, and the exciting road ahead. A north star of sorts — a book by Mailchimp, for Mailchimp. Written by the one and only @javiermolinos and created with my colleagues @arzie @_chrissandlin and @esloant . Shot by @jmehopper . We partnered with @dia_studio to create a motion identity that fit our brand personality while working cohesively across all visual touchpoints. The motion behavior derived from Freddie [our beloved chimp]’s wink and the style inspired by our core brand assets: color, type, shape and form. 2021

Brand Refresh for @hyperx in 2020. The design strategy was simple, focusing on what HyperX does best: creating the leading products in the world of gaming. The visual language is bold and confident, focused on their heritage red, heroic photography and technical typography inspired by product labels and manuals. Big thanks to @zonedgg for bringing me on this project. Note: some photography is poc — not owned by HyperX or myself.

2021 Culture & Inclusion Report by the @mailchimpcreative team. Evolved our beloved wordmark into a working typeface for sub-brands and hero moments. In a world of templatized sameness, Mailchimp's success is a story of growing up and staying weird. The Mailchimp logotype works to maintain a precise balance between the sophisticated and the surreal, to better chart our unique path and expression. With @mailchimpcreative and @carolinebagley
