BEC - 2025 ✈️
When I made my first end of year reel, it was just a silly little trend, but year after year I find myself watching them a lot. They act as a sort of personal vision board where I remember who I was that year and all the things I never want to forget.
This year, the loss of Louise made me take inventory of my life and inspired me to travel and figure out what I was supposed to do next.
Work took me back to Australia for the 2nd time where I got to reconnect with cherished friends (
@jasonalexanderlee and
@robertirwinphotography ). Not included in this video was an epic Night Glow Worm Tour with
@lizzy.photo and
@kito_kondowe but is worth the mention. 🐛
I had a dinner with friends in Paris. Danced the night away at a Chateau in Sancerre. Lived in London for a beat thanks to the insane hospitality of
@lo_cou and
@lexcarthur . Tapped into my inner Nancy Meyers movie with solo trips to Rye & Surrey, and finally rounded out the year with a group trip via
@lo_cooou to Oslo and Lofoten.
I moved out of my loft after 9 years and moved into my dream house. I had over 1,000 trick or treaters this year. I hosted my first Thanksgiving in a formal dining room.
I celebrated three of my best friends weddings, and cried from happiness about the engagements and babies of multiple others. I became a godmother. Love continues to multiply.
I fostered 4 pugs, and adopted one - Thelma.
I did so much alone. Dinners, movies, flights, hotel rooms, continents. I’m proud of that. Being single in my 30s has its ups and downs, and I will be eating 12 grapes under a table tonight - but I wouldn’t trade this time for anything.
I’ll let you know how eating the grapes goes in 2026. 🍇✨
