Quintessence Opening: October 10th | 6 - 10 pm Quintessence is a group show inspired by the magic and mystery between humans and Nature, 16 artists seeking their own essential nature to create art that helps restore our broken connection. Cha Yuree - @cha.yuree (1990, American) Cha Yuree is an American artist based in Los Angeles. With her use of saturated colors and graphic shapes, she portrays moments influenced by the asian diaspora, as well as taking inspiration from the stories of her grandmothers. She paints predominantly with acrylic and digitally. Through her color stories, she shares the vividness of these moments. #contemporaryart #mexicocity #quintessence

My little piece for BULLPEN, A group exhibition organized in collaboration with the Korean American artist collective @kaacollective and @laurenkirm ! “BULLPEN is a group show made up of Korean American artists who expand upon the definitions of “Koreanness”, by their very existence. Each artist employs a deeply explorative practice while standing firm in their identities—of which cannot be defined in a sentence. If Koreanness is a verb, the thing that binds Korean Americans is the action of.“ 🇰🇷🇺🇸💪 With this 12x12” piece I’m doing things a liiittle differently, playing with clays, resins and textures!
