We partnered with our friends at Apple, TBWA\Media Arts Lab (@tbwamal ) in Shanghai, and director Bai Xue to create the stop motion animation for “Glad I Met You”, their 2026 Chinese New Year film. Here’s a look at how it came together.
Puppet makers hand-crafted silicone skins, soft handmade fur, and tiny hand-knit wardrobes over bespoke armatures engineered to hold up through thousands of micro-movements. Animators worked shot by shot, moving puppets a fraction of a millimeter at a time, with over 20 unique mouth shapes per character 3D printed, hand-painted, and swapped frame by frame. Even the backgrounds were built by hand down to miniature air-conditioning units, street signage, and tiny bottles.
Shot on iPhone 17 Pro.

A visual centerpiece for TurboTax’s new flagship NYC store.
BUCK joined forced with Gensler and the Spring team at Intuit TurboTax to develop digital content for the store’s 30-foot curved LED screen known as the Forum — designed to deliver a premium, tech-forward experience that feels welcoming and calming while encouraging curiosity in their new flagship.
Forced smiles? Not on our watch.

We helped Suki, a healthcare AI company, evolve their brand to signal distinction and leadership in a category crowded with near-identical claims.
The work was grounded in brand strategy built from real clinical encounters and a sharp insight: burnout isn’t the root problem. It’s what happens when clinicians are consistently pulled away from the human connection that makes care meaningful. This led to Suki’s new vision — Building presence at the heart of care.
We then created a dynamic brand identity system that expresses Suki’s assistive role with clinicians — always in motion and seamlessly integrated. Crucially, we shifted the primary brand color from green to yellow, introducing warmth and optimism into a space defined by seriousness and fatigue.
And to bring the bold, new identity to life we called in our @thisisresidence pals, @madebywild , to develop their refreshed website.

Sul sul! We worked closely with The Sims team to bring The Sims design system to life through a vibrant motion system.
Leaning into The Sims’ tone of voice, we developed motion principles that result in a playful and wide-reaching motion toolkit that spans across logo animations, transitions, social assets, and much, much more.
Our work also includes the brand mnemonic, the intro animation that plays every time a Sims player loads the game, that will be seen by millions for years to come.
