I’m taking a stand with
@UnitedArtistsForClimate during COP30. United Artists for Climate is a global campaign by contemporary artists committed to the environment for COP30,
@artofchange21 and
@labverde
We want:
To raise climate ambition in line with the Paris accord
To adopt the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF) to protect forests
To place culture at the heart of climate action

6. Be the change! My family and I have created Atelier de la Nature an eco-art education center and nature reserve located in south Louisiana. Our mission is to connect people to our region’s special nature and culture through creative, interdisciplinary programs that integrate art with science to inspire ecological and community stewardship. /
7. Memory in the Life of a Cajun Prairie is living artwork in collaboration with Newton Harrison and Dr. Jorge Villa. Here we are recreating a native Louisiana prairie, one of the most endangered habitats in North America, from a former soybean field to sequester carbon, increase biodiversity, and as a living sculpture. Here we seek to sculpt the atmosphere, landscape, and society.
