Art of Change 21 announces the first Art & Environment Festival in Paris! Taking place from 26 May to 6 June 2026, the Festival will present six key events at iconic venues such as the Palais de Tokyo and Lafayette Anticipations, as well as across the Greater Paris area. Aimed at both professionals and the general public, the Art & Environment Festival showcases the French and international art scene (artists, museums, experts, institutions, art galleries…), to link the ecological transition, contemporary art and new visions in an inspiring and engaging way. SAT Montréal @sat_montreal (Canada) gives artists a major platform for digital performance and immersive experimentation, sustaining a culture of creative risk. Kauae Raro @kauae_raro (New Zealand) protects Indigenous knowledge by centering Māori women’s memory, language, and lived experience. Lola Akinmade Åkerström @lolaakinmade (Sweden/Nigeria) reframes travel and belonging through photography rooted in dignity, intimacy, and a deep understanding of place. Art of Change 21 @artofchange21 (France/Global) brings artists into climate action, making environmental urgency emotionally visible and publicly felt. Laolu Senbanjo @laolunyc (Nigeria/United States) carries Yoruba symbolism into contemporary art, fashion, and performance, redefining what that lineage looks like in a global context.

ZOOM SUR L'ENVIRONNEMENT - 12 galeries engagées en 2026. Fort de son succès en 2025, Paris Gallery Weekend poursuit ses Zooms, des parcours thématiques conçus avec des acteurs du monde de l’art, mettant en lumière les grandes tendances de la programmation et proposant de nouveaux regards sur les expositions et la diversité des scènes présentées. Pour la première fois, ce Zoom dédié à l'environnement met en lumière les œuvres qui explorent les mutations de notre cadre de vie et la place du vivant, valorisant ainsi cette thématique majeure au sein de certaines galeries participantes. Ce Zoom bénéficie de l’engagement de Art of Change 21, une association spécialisée sur la relation entre l’Art Contemporain et les grands enjeux environnementaux. À travers une sélection d’expositions, le public est invité à découvrir des artistes qui interrogent les enjeux environnementaux, depuis leurs réflexions conceptuelles jusqu’à leurs modes de production. Avec 12 galeries participantes pour cette première édition en 2026, cette nouvelle dynamique se confirme à travers des propositions variées dans les quartiers artistiques d’Île-de-France. Le Prix Art Écoconception soutient les artistes contemporains dans la réduction de leur impact environnemental. 12 lauréat·e·s vont bénéficier en juin prochain d’un accompagnement de plusieurs jours au Palais de Tokyo et dans les lieux phares du Grand Paris, ainsi qu’une gratification de 1 000 euros.
