In these images, a glimpse of the deep immersion into the sounds, scents, flavors, and stimuli of the Amazon Rainforest during Labsonora 2026. A huge thank you to the artists who embarked on this journey with us, sensing the humidity, the heat, and the frequency of the laughter as tools for composition and inspiration. Os rios da Amazônia conversam. Rio não tem fronteira. Desses caminhos de água doce surgiram duas expressões próximas: A Guitarrada (PA) e o Beiradão (AM). A canção do vídeo se chama Xangô e foi lançada por Magalhães em 1986 pelo selo Gravassom. Esse vídeo foi gravado às margens do Rio Negro (Amazonas) durante a residência LabSonora, realizada por LabVerde. A GEOMETRIA DO ENCONTRO. Linhas delimitam espaços e narram confrontos. Seja reta ou curva, a linha age como o pilar da nossa comunicação visual, definindo contornos e evocando a diferença ou a união. Nesta obra, a artista Juliana Lewkowicz utiliza a linha como extensão física de sua anatomia. O tecido vermelho torna-se um vetor de força, composto por infinitos pontos que traçam direções e estruturas em meio à paisagem amazônica. Aqui, a arte não apenas observa a natureza; ela se insere nela como uma nova coordenada geográfica. Obra realizada durante edição 2025 do programa Ecologias Especulativas em Manaus. THE GEOMETRY OF ENCOUNTER. Lines delimit spaces and narrate confrontations. Whether straight or curved, lines act as the pillar of our visual communication, defining contours and evoking difference or unity. In this work, artist Juliana Lewkowicz uses lines as a physical extension of her anatomy. The red fabric becomes a vector of force, composed of infinite points that trace directions and structures amid the Amazonian landscape. Here, art does not merely observe nature; it inserts itself into it as a new geographical coordinate.
