TJ Real Wedding: Frosine + Baden By Alix Mckenzie It seems very fitting to re-post this stunning TJ cover wedding, as @oceanalleyband is on tour in NZ at the moment. “We met through Instagram, but planned to meet in person at the Laneway Festival, where Baden was performing. He actually waited in the middle of a busy street with crazy fans swarming him, while I kept him waiting from my apartment. If you knew him, you would know he would never do that for anybody! My first impression was good. Later that night, after he’d performed, we hopped on a Ferris wheel. The gown was simple and chic, with a dramatic drop waist that added a high-fashion twist. I found a vintage French lace veil on Etsy, which became one of my favourite pieces. I also wore pearl earrings that belonged to my late grandmother and a bracelet my father gave to my mother. For the reception, I swapped the veil for a silk scarf. TJ REAL WEDDING OF Emily + Mitch by Ash Muir. A delightful NZ garden wedding 🌹 “We wanted the wedding to feel completely relaxed, like one big celebration,” says Emily. Instead of a formal seated dinner, the couple opted for an incredible grazing table styled by LVR and brought to life by Emily’s talented cousin Emma, alongside a food truck and three cakes to keep guests happy and well fed throughout the evening. That sense of fun and informality carried through the entire styling direction. “One big party” became the defining theme of the day, with stylists Jacque and Lauren from LVR given almost complete creative freedom with the venue. Set within a large amphitheatre-style space, dramatic drapery helped create impact and intimacy without the need for a marquee, transforming the setting into something immersive, celebratory and beautifully atmospheric.
