ULLA: The Makers Series
The porcelain cap of ULLA Eau de Parfum and candle vessel are designed by ceramic artist @jonathan.yamakami . Each piece, handmade and one of a kind, follows his intuitive process - guided by organic form and the quiet rhythms of nature.
Designed to endure beyond its first life, the candle vessel is an object to live with.
“My work is often shaped by what I observe along the Southern California coast - the way things grow, shift, and take form over time. For ULLA, I was drawn to the idea of emergence. The vessels evolve from our Bloom series, while the caps echo the quiet energy of seeds - contained, tactile, and full of possibility.”
- Jonathan Yamakami

ULLA ~ a more intimate expression from Ulla Johnson.
Born from her lifelong connection to scent and its power to hold memory, emotion, and place, the collection reflects impressions gathered over time — sunlight along the Adriatic coast, dunes above Montauk, flowers from her Brooklyn garden.
Created alongside a community of celebrated makers, ULLA is both fragrance and object: softly curved vessels, hand-formed porcelain, and tactile keepsakes designed to live beyond their first use.
A collection shaped by ritual, natural materials, and a love of gathering.

The greatest role of all. In my over twenty years of mothering and twenty five of running this business I have learned many things, I have many more to learn. Thank you to my three kiddies for all you have taught me, for all the other mothers and friends and family I have made and found along the way who have laughed and cried with me on this amazing journey. I am an only child, I never could have imagined how much I could love these three humans, and all that growing and raising and holding them would mean and how I would be held and grow myself.
Missing my mama today, sending love into the universe to her, and to my grandmothers and all the mamas before them for all they carried and held and built and taught and gave and dreamed and fought for to create this path upon which I now walk.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you beautiful mamas out there 💛
