I missed the deadline 😢 back to school period is tough, I feel like we’re running all the time! Anyway, here is my build for #colorplay This is a two-color robot bust. I used white instead of a complementary green for lack of green pieces 😅 I quite like the result! It feels a bit simplistic at the top, but that still works ok. #moc #legoinsta #afol #legomoc #legoart #legobuilding #explorepage #legorobot #robotbust #bicolor #twotone @tipsandbuilds

Nougat & Royal Blue For the #colorplay challenge by @tipsandbricks I decided to pull from two colors in which relatively few parts are available. These royal blue parts herald from 2004’s Knights Kingdom II while these nougat parts are all from 2022’s UCS Landspeeder. As blue and orange are complimentary colors, they fit together well here. Despite being highly saturated, both colors have a softness to them that’s hard to capture in photography. I’ve enjoyed playing with trees in some of my more art-sy builds, such as “Passage of the Gods” or “and all was right with the world” and the tiles in royal blue lent themselves well to building still, glassy water. In this build, I wanted to play with the dichotomy of tree and water. The tree rises upwards, freely, while the water is constrained within the bounds of the frame. However, at one point along the edge, the water has broken through the frame. Rather than following the tree up, it doesn’t fight against gravity and flows downward. As it ripples over the edge, it reuses a piece used elsewhere as a leaf. In its own quest for freedom, the water briefly becomes more like a tree. In this world, there are some who are trees and some who are water. Who will you be? #satire #lego #paulville #paulvillemocs

Sharing my build for the Color Play Challenge with @tipsandbuilds a challenge to use two complementary colors. I’ve used Pink and Green as my chosen colors and some fun classic @lego parts and figures from Belville and Clikits for this little garden scene. @lego @legobuilds #lego #legobuilds #legobelville #legoclikits #legobotanical #moc #legomoc #afol #legoafol #colorplay #legocommunity #afolcommunity #ladieswholego #twinlugmn

A tree built from just two colors for @tipsandbuilds #colorplay! With white for the branches and black for the leaves, it turned into a quirky little weeping willow. It’s dramatic, a bit moody, and maybe just the goth cousin of the forest. @lego @lego #legodigitalbuild #legobricklinkstudio #bricklinkstudio #afol #legochallenge #legocommunity

🇬🇧 Somewhere in Andromeda Galaxy My build for the #colorplay challenge hosted by @tipsandbuilds . I picked dark turquoise and coral because they are great and peculiar colours to represent the fragment of an alien planet. #lego #legomoc #legospace #legocolors #colorplay #legobuilder

Here’s my entry for the #colorplay challenge hosted by @tipsandbuilds I picked green and red and I thought an habitat is always a good place to start. I haven’t done a microscale one in a while, so I went for it. I added some irregular edges at the back, I expanded a bit at the front and I played with a bit of forced perspective. Quite happy with the outcome.

A castle built from 2 complementary colours for @tipsandbuilds #colorplay My favourite Lego colour is Dark Azure and my favourite over all colour in life is orange. So what better pairing!? Inspired by the unique parts available in these colours I built a doll house style castle that is all open at the back. I was happy to add some animals to my build too. Everyone needs a fun space to hang out with friends! @lego @lego #legodigitalbuild #legobricklinkstudio #bricklinkstudio #afol #womeninlego #ladieswholego #legochallenge #legocommunity

My submission to #colorplay x #shelltember2025 Recently I saw someone use the curved windscreen to make water tides and it inspired me to do the same. The shell is inspired by the Seashells collection design by 2A2A on Lego Ideas. Thanks @tipsandbuilds and @noble_studs for the fun challenge. Otherwise I'd probably never would have done a yellow and purple build. #lego #legoinstagram #tipsandbuilds #afol #legomoc #legobuilds

I wanted to create something majestic for the #colorplay challenge... But I didn't have a lot of time and it ended up as some kind of Christmas chicken? Enjoy! And merry Christmas 🤣 #lego #legomoc
