exactly a year ago, i embarked on a journey of a lifetime. i captured bts of the filmmaking process on “The Express Way with Dulé Hill” for @pbs . we traversed America, immersing ourselves in various cultures to seek out artists who utilize their craft in highly impactful and transformative ways. @dannylee ’s brilliant direction and @dulehill ’s relentless dedication to the subject matter were evident day in and day out. the crew went above and beyond on countless lengthy days to make sure we got all the footage needed (in total we had 120tb of footage by the end!).
to witness the moments of pure magic was soul touching, and to be brought on to document the crew in my own style was an honor. all episodes + extras i made are out now on amazon prime, youtube, & the pbs app!
