@quintab is something of a pro at awards shows by now. With five seasons of her hit sitcom ‘Abbott Elementary’ under her belt, she’s certainly been to quite a few—enough to have favorites. The Actor Awards tops her list. The cast, which was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series this year, won in the same category for its first season back in 2022. “It’s really nice just celebrating the rest of the acting community specifically,” Brunson tells Vanity Fair. “There’s just something really sweet about this award show to me.” Her work on ‘Abbott’ demands most of her attention, so Brunson’s not as involved in the intricacies of her styling as she wishes she could be, but she trusts her team, including her stylist @highheelprncess to keep her looking red carpet ready in custom @gabrielahearst . “I think doing the good work first in my writing, producing, and acting career is what gets you to the carpet in the first place,” Brunson said. “So that’s kind of my main goal is to make sure my work is good.” VF’s @thunderwooddd gets ready with the ‘Abbott Elementary’ creator for the 2026 Actor Awards at our link in bio.
