still on a high from a sold out opening night, kicking off the theatrical run for WHO IS STAN SMITH? it’s wonderful seeing stan get his flowers. for a pop culture icon, stan carries himself with such warmth and humility. this is a man who has done so much for the people, but doesn’t tout his good deeds as this man of virtue. he just quietly does the work. that has left such an impression on me. and hopefully you too. the film continues its LA run at the @nuarttheatre this week only, then expands to the @laemmletheatres in santa monica, glendale, and encino this friday. until then, stan and i will see you at the NYC premiere at the @angelikafilmny this friday 5/10! with gratitude 🎾💚👟

fatherhood. it destroyed me. the old me. the selfish dude who only had to think and fend for himself. fatherhood rebuilt my entire constitution. to think of others first. to act on the welfare of the tribe first. i credit these little homies for giving me purpose beyond comprehension. to show them how to move through life with heart and grit. they say kids grow fast and i remind myself of this fact daily. soaking up every single moment with them at every stage. and thanks to them for allowing me to figure it out as i go. remaining open to receive whatever comes your way. all you new and would-be fathers out there, it’s all good. you will figure it out 🤝
