A few good shots from an incredible time at @newcolossusfestival to make sure you (yes YOU) know about Our Next Gig (ONG), which we’re pleased to say takes place at @rhizome_dc with two Utterly Legendary Groups (ULGs) ~ @landownerband from Mass and DRAWN from philly/dc!! Never shared the stage with either! How can it be? Did you get ur tix yet?? All photos by Crafted Sounds Daddy (CSD)! (Featuring CSM in the last photo!)

Light Beams on Saturday night at Rhizome, performing that one song that I once helped out with by holding up a whiteboard cue card at an outdoor show. I don't know the title of the song but inside my brain I've been thinking of it as "Pisces Thing". Perhaps that's the actual title! Wouldn't *that* be a Capricorn thing!

Friends ~ thanks for listening to my music and/or being excited about any upcoming shows I’m playing, it means a lot.I’ll be on this public forum more this fall and asking more of people’s limited time and attention. So while I’m on this public forum i want to share my own public support for the activists working toward a Free Palestine without Israeli occupation or engineered famine, and a Free DC without National guard presence, cooperation with ICE, or criminalization of poverty. The work of these activists - including @freedcproject @dmvpym @dcmigrantmutualaid - keeps me, my family, and my city safer. I’m always open to discussions about politics and activism but almost always prefer to have them outside of social media, whenever possible. Hit me up!
