more time, more magic: why batching tasks works get stuff done: batching tasks means doing similar things together. no more switching gears every few minutes, which lets me power through tasks. focus: when i’m in the zone, i’m unstoppable. batching keeps me in that sweet spot, focusing on one thing at a time without distractions. streamline schedule: batching lets me save time because i’m not jumping all over the place. more tasks ticked off in less time. “All-In” by @wip_collaborative is an interactive installation created in the context of the “Shared Space—Collective Practices” group exhibition of collaborative design practices at Art Omi. WIP Collaborative is thrilled to be featured in the exhibition along with @assembleofficial @fundamentaldesignbuild and @colloqate . “All-In” is designed to engage with users of all ages as a flexible structure to support creative children’s workshops held in the gallery this spring. Four unique but cohesive elements come together as a dynamic and flexible platform for various uses. The elements are open for interpretation as worktable, seating, playscape, or otherwise. With its playful use of geometry, color, material, and texture the installation invites users to touch, sit, slide, and create on the various surfaces. @wip_collaborative Join us for the opening of Shared Space—Collective Practices at Art Omi on Saturday 1/21, 2-4pm! We're excited to begin the year in the company of other collaborative design practices as part of an upcoming gallery exhibition at Art Omi. The show will feature projects by WIP Collaborative, Assemble, Colloqate, and FUNdaMENTAL Design Build, presenting the work of group practices that bring designers and communities together to realize projects with broader social impact. WIP Collaborative has also designed a built installation for the gallery, entitled All In, that will serve as a multifunctional platform for various uses by gallery visitors of all ages and Art Omi's series of childrens' creative workshops throughout the spring. The WIP Collaborative team includes Elsa Ponce, Lindsay Harkema, Sera Ghadaki, Abby Coover, Ryan Brooke Thomas, Sonya Gimon, and Bryony Roberts. Art Omi is an arts center in Columbia County, NY featuring a 120-acre Sculpture & Architecture Park, contemporary art gallery, five distinct residency programs, and arts education programming for all ages.
