Read and learn about feelings with Pip and Posy 🥰 This chunky lift-the-flap book follows best friends Pip and Posy through a whole range of emotions for toddlers to discover. Each page explores a different feeling, with a question to encourage young children to think about when they felt that emotion too. This helps show that these feelings are normal, healthy and important to us all. 🐰🐭 With charming illustrations by The Gruffalo illustrator, Axel Scheffler. This book is available to buy online and in store, wherever you shop for books. How do you encourage your child to talk about their feelings? 💬

Journey to a new magical world crackling with power ✨ The Hexton Chronicles: The Trouble with Magic, is the first in a dark new fantasy series from Amy Wilson (@amywilsonbooks ), with illustrations by Eric Deschamps (@deschampsart ).  When Fray’s hidden magic is exposed, he flees to Hexton – a magical town that exiled his family after an unspeakable betrayal. As fractured magic unravels the town, Fray must choose his path. While feared as a curse by some, can he find a way to restore Hexton’s magic? This series is for children who love dark magic, immersive fantasy worlds, and fearless young heroes – ideal for fans of Kiran Millwood Hargrave and Anna James.  At its heart lies an unsettling reminder: the seeds of magic within us all don’t always grow into something good…

Scamper through the alphabet in this hilarious book that will have the whole family laughing as you race from A to Z! This playful story quickly turns into a game of hide-and-seek. It is noisy, silly and made for reading aloud, with lots of pointing, spotting and page-turning excitement. For early readers, aged 2+. ‘Now You Know Your ABC’ is the deviously funny, mad-cap new picture book by Caspar Salmon and Matt Hunt (@mathunt ), and follow-up to the award-winning ‘How to Count to One’. Today is Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday! 🌍 For a century, he has inspired us to look closer, care more, and protect what we often take for granted. His voice hasn’t just narrated our planet – it’s helped change how we see our place within it. That’s why it meant so much to feature him in our book Earth Heroes, written by Lily Dyu in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, and illustrated by Jackie Lay (@jackie.lay ). An inspirational collection of stories about the individual people saving the planet, for children ages 9+. We celebrate everything that @davidattenborough has given to our planet. 💚 📌 Save this for when you need reminding why the natural world matters.

☕️✨COVER REVEAL✨☕️ AD There are some books that remain in your mind and heart long after reading, books that pull you back time and again, books that you recommend on repeat. Sometimes, a book falls into all three categories; that’s when you know you’ve struck gold. 🧳The Suitcase by @chris.naylor.ballesteros is one such title. An instant favourite back in 2019, it is incredibly powerful in its simplicity, encouraging readers to consider how we treat new, unfamiliar people, or those we see as ‘different’. It’s one I now view as a modern classic. ☕️Now, its companion story The Teacup is about to publish and I can vouch for its equal brilliance. Another tale of acceptance and kindness, with the same cast, plus a face that’s new to all except one of the characters. ✨A reminder that we ALL have a story and, even though politicians and the press will have you believe some stories aren’t as valid as others, we must make space for them all. Publishing on July 2nd with @nosycrow . Do seek out The Suitcase in advance (if you haven’t already come across it), and consider preordering so you can share both stories together. Combined, they really pack a thought-provoking punch.

end of an era - @alastairchisholm ’s I Am Wolf trilogy is complete #bookstagram We Are Dragon is the final book in the series and concludes the epic middle grade adventure series where humans pilot giant biomechanical animals called Constructs around a dystopian landscape 🐺 🐦‍⬛ 🐉 It’s been a treat to see the series come to life from the outset, to do little bits and pieces of narration and see Alastair and the @nosycrow team create an incredible, immersive world for young people to lose themselves in. The artwork, the trailers and most importantly, the words are so good (and pretty cool too - check them out when you scroll along!) if you’re looking for something exciting for your pre-YA reading kids to get stuck into, I’d say try this trilogy! it’s deep, well realised and just really fun #childrensbook #middlegradebooks #iamwolf
