This took a loong while to get right, I tried many different materials and techniques and in the end settled for this mixed media & digital editing approach. I used ink, textures, charcoal pencils and combined everything in PS.

I was recently invited to my son’s nursery to do some portraits of the children. I was a bit nervos as I hadn’t done this before, but it turned out to be very enjoyable both for me and the children 😄 so I thought I could do some more and added custom watercolour portraits to my Etsy shop.
