Earth Heroes is an inspiring and hopeful book about how people across the world are helping to protect our planet from climate change. It shares 22 amazing true stories of courage, creativity and care for our world. From David Attenborough, Greta Thunberg, Isatou Ceesay and Bittu Sahgal, to many other everyday heroes, each story shows that anyone can make a difference. Some heroes clean up waste, others protect animals or speak up for the Earth. The book reminds readers that small actions can grow into big change. It is exciting, easy to read and full of hope. Earth Heroes encourages young readers to believe in themselves and take action to help the planet for the future. It inspires kindness, teamwork and positive action every day possible. Love it! The perfect classroom companion! Recommended for ages 8+. ad/pr @nosycrow @jackie.lay @ Lily Dyu 🤍🌿🤍 Thank you so much to the publishers for sending me this to review, it will be making its way into my classroom very soon! 🤍🌿🤍

The Trump administration’s recent actions have certain observers asking... are we going full empire? Here’s three art options I gave to the Code Switch podcast team, possibly inspired by my recent trip to Star Wars land at Disney.

People deported to El Salvador are being disappeared. A new collage for NPR. The background is supposed to be a subtle flag of El Salvador.

I made a comic about Hatshepsut, who was forgotten to history for over three millennia and is still not quite a household name. While Cleopatra and Nefertiti are much better known, no female ruler of the ancient world was as adept and successful as Hatshepsut, which may be the key to why her legacy was erased for so long. Read the whole comic over at @npr to celebrate the last day of women’s history month.

I’ve never seen a conga line that didn’t have me in it. Here’s a collection of animals I drew for NPR’s Sunday Puzzle. And sure, sometimes the clue didn’t mention animals but got animals anyway 😄 Draw what you love, right?

It’s been a year. So what has happened so far? From firing inspectors general, to sidelining Congress, to attacking the media to control information, Trump and his administration have moved at warp speed from the moment he was sworn in. Here’s some of the pillars of democracy that he’s eroding. Thanks to my ADs @scruggsworks and @ebogle_selects

Best tv and movies of 2025, drawn for NPR. I’ve only seen 2 of these, I’ve got my work cut out for me.

Who wants a free watercolor portrait of their dog (which I cannot promise will turn out well)? It’s very enjoyable to paint these floofers.

A couple favorite portraits I did for NPR’s Sunday Puzzle over the past few months. Wait, who’s that last one though? ;)

Pronatalists want to “save civilization” by having more American babies. But it wasn’t that long ago that some people wanted to save the world by limiting the number of kids being born. This week, @nprcodeswitch explored the surprising way eugenics plays a role in these two seemingly opposite fears, and I got to draw some storks.
