NPR won the @societyfornewsdesign ’s award of excellence for commissioned illustration featuring stellar work by @isabel_seliger and art direction by me for Carrie Johnson’s reporting on the lack of accountability for federal judges who are accused of mistreating staff.
A recent collage I made that published on NPR related to the Epstein files. A 2006 conference for physicists in the U.S. Virgin Islands that included a trip to Jeffrey Epstein’s private island shows how he used his wealth to build relationships with prominent scientists.
Each week this year I’ve been making a physical collage. The weekly practice has helped inform the digital collages I make for NPR. It’s been an opportunity to try new techniques without the pressure of a deadline and I enjoy seeing patterns emerge across the pieces.
New collage by me on NPR. Thank you to @jackie.lay for the direction and guidance.

Two end of year stories with photo illustrations by me. It’s been exciting to work on collages this year. Thanks to @jackie.lay for the feedback and helping me improve!
