@mezuo_nwuneli ’s speech at @theplatformnigeria on May 1st was amazing! Obviously, I am biased- I was blown away! The wisdom, depth and authenticity that @mezuo_nwuneli expressed was truly a blessing. The theme of the day was “Unlocking the 2nd half advantage - transition, impact & legacy,” for those over 40! Mezuo shared the stage with many exceptional leaders and it was truly a gift to be in the audience! I have included just a few clips on the insights that @mezuo_nwuneli shared! What resonates most with you? What struck me was that he did not choose to focus on his accomplishments via @sahelcapital @aacefoods.ng @sahelconsulting or his many Board roles, but on the lessons gained through life and the anchors for the 2nd half! Thank you @pastorpoju and the entire @theplatformnigeria team, including the gifted @ndidi_ukaonu for organizing such a wonderful edition! God bless you all!

Sharing a segment from my recent engagement at the @skollworldforum in Oxford a few days ago! The university of life is tough - and we are all juggling numerous responsibilities on a daily basis! As you juggle remember that there are glass balls and plastic balls. The glass balls are your faith, family and health! If you drop them, they shatter and sadly, are often quite difficult to restore! Prioritize your fellowship with God, your marriage, children, parents, siblings, and close friends and your health - sleep, nutrition, health check-ups (for my sisters and brothers - full annual exams are critical!!!) etc. The plastic balls can bounce back and don’t shatter! May God continue to give us courage and wisdom to discern and prioritize effectively, as we juggle !!! In addition, give yourself grace - and recognize and celebrate your small wins along the way- and for those of us in the sandwich generation- with children and parents who need our love and care - take it one hour at a time!!! Sending hugs and prayers!!!

What does it take to change the story the world tells about Africa — and to do it from the inside of global power? Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli, the first African President and CEO of the ONE Campaign, attended the G20 Interfaith Forum in Cape Town last August and came away convinced: faith communities are one of the most powerful forces available to advocates working on the world’s hardest problems. In this piece, adapted from a Berkley Center interview conducted by Katherine Marshall, she shares why the 2026 and 2027 G20 presidencies are a critical window for faith voices, how ONE is mobilizing faith leaders from Capitol Hill to Cape Town, and what an Igbo phrase for love has taught her about seeing people as they truly are. Read the full blog: /2026/04/11/ndidi-interview/ Are you working at the intersection of faith and global advocacy — through an interfaith coalition, a faith-based development organization, or research on religion and global policy? We’d love to feature your work on the IF20 podcast. Send us a DM. #FaithAndDevelopment #G20 #IF20 #ONECampaign #Africa

Yesterday, I was honored to celebrate the amazing Monsignor Obiora Ike @ 70 - wonderful member of the @one @one.deutschland Global Faith Council, spiritual and civil society leader, nonprofit executive, author, public speaker, orator, board director, philanthropist, friend, Nigeria’s gift to the world, Ola ndigbo and son of the Most High God. I first heard about Mon Ike from many mutual friends who raved about his brilliance, wisdom, fluency in German, Spanish, Latin, French, etc and integrity. However, I did not formally witness this firsthand until I joined the Board of Globethics in Switzerland. With every encounter, my admiration for Mon Ike grew. He was humble, kind, intelligent, but also very open to feedback. He always showed up with excellence and invested his time and energy in deepening the impact and widening the tent for Globethics. Similarly, when I reached out to Mon Ike with the idea for the creation of the @centreformemories – in 1997, he immediately offered his support. When I joined @one and worked with the team to launch the Global Faith Council, building on our amazing history with the Faith community, it was a joy to invite Mon Ike, Bishop Kukah and many other great leaders to engage on this wonderful platform! Mon Ike visited DC for our Faith Summit and blessed us with his wisdom, grace and prayers! It was a joy to speak at the International Conference in Enugu as part of the 70th birthday celebrations. It was an even bigger honor to return to the @centreformemories for the 4th Annual Memorial Lecture in honor of my big brother and fearless leader - Innocent Chukwuma @iccefnigeria . Thank you to my big sis @josephine_effah_chukwuma , the amazons, @cleenfoundationn and the entire family for making this possible. The opportunity to celebrate two great legacies in one day - truly blessed. Thank you – Mon Ike and Innocent for your lives of service and impact. Thank you for pouring into the next generation! Photo 12 shows both men sitting side by side at the opening of the @centreformemories - truly surreal. Thank you to my big brother @ike_chioke for all of the support during my short trip to Enugu! God bless you!

Something amazing happened yesterday! I got my PHD from the @university_of_cape_town @uctgraduateschoolofbusiness @commercefacultyuct I give all honor and glory to God – He is the source of my inspiration, strength, and courage. The decision to pursue this PhD at an African University was motivated by my desire to deepen my knowledge and contributions to our Continent! It was such a joy to have my dearest @mezuo_nwuneli and my bestie Laura and Imo and my Uncle Prof. Jonathan Okonkwo and his wife in attendance. It wonderful to connect with dear friends @lesego_serolong , Neil and Paul before and after! Thank you to my dearest husband – Mezuo, our wonderful children, Udenna and @amaranwuneli , my parents – Prof. Paul and Prof. Rina Okonkwo, siblings @oadaora @unaosili1 @nwando @oaneto , auntie – Dr. Laura Davis; and my dear friends – Laura, @motunrayoadebiyi , Jody, @cjohnsonla , @ogemodie @eme_essienlore @glowreeyah @olatoyosik Nanre, the Power Girls, and HN who prayed for me and inspired me to keep going, against all odds. I am truly blessed to have you in my life. I especially recognize my mother – Prof. Rina Okonkwo and sister – Prof. Una Osili – who urged me to continue to push through. Getting this PHD was one of my most difficult life experiences. I wanted to give up many times. I set a target to have the “Dr” title before my 50th birthday, but it took an extra year - delay is never a denial! Thank you to my faculty adviser – Professor Kurt April – the Allan Gray Chair at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, for providing immense support and guidance throughout my PhD journey. Thank you to the @enterprisedevelopmentcentre , @fatefoundation , @africanfoodchangemakers , and @leapafrica for nominating companies to participate in the research process. Thank you to the business owners and their senior executives who sacrificed their time and openly shared their experiences and insights. I hope that the findings from this dissertation promote discussion and inspire reflection and transformation in your journey as a leader. Watch this space, a book is coming your way soon – “Decisive Leaders: Building Strong Judgment at the Top!”

This is 51! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for all of the calls, messages, gifts, flowers and prayers! This is my season of resting in the knowledge that I am blessed beyond measure! This is my season of sharing with the younger generation! This is my season of being rooted in the Word of God, obedience, courage and Godfindence! My first voice message on the 22nd was from a global icon and role model sharing scriptures with me which moved me to tears - Psalm 34 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him.” I ended the day listening to @thecovenantnationglobal service and the post message declarations were so powerful, I had to share a few the words in the photos inspired by Psalm 23! I am truly excited about what God is doing in this season! Our master strategist is working all things together for our good!

It is Women’s Month - and I have been reflecting on the amazing women who I was blessed to walk with from my early childhood- nursery school, primary and secondary school - and we are still in touch - not as often as we would like - but blessed to walk this journey with them! Two turned 50 in the past three months and the other three turned 50 last year! I thank God for their lives and friendships! I thank God for what I learned from them from a young age. - From Nkechi - I learned resilience and confidence! Even as the last of 10 amazing children in the Udekwu clan you shone brightly and you continue to do so with beauty and grace! So proud of the wife, mother, auntie, doctor and leader you are today! - From Ijeamaka - I observed wisdom from a young age and the power of a large, close knit extended family! How beautiful it was to experience Nimo, and Enugu Ukwu through your lens! So proud of the wife, mother, daughter, auntie, sister, leader, social entrepreneur and philanthropist you are today! From Chinelo, I learned to see the beauty in the world and to accept and respect all people! So proud of the amazing super mama, sister, auntie, friend and social entrepreneur you are! From Nneka, I learned kindness and faith - thank you Nneka for loving God and His creation so faithfully! So proud of sister, daughter, auntie, and friend that you are! From Laura, I learned excellence and observed vision, passion and courage! What a joy and blessing it has been to walk this journey with you! Super wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, Godmother, pediatrician, public health leader and social innovator! May God continue to bless and keep you all! May you be blessed with good health and long life to continue to bring peace, love and joy to our world!!!!

A heart of thanksgiving! This past Sunday, as I drove on I94 in Chicago, I immediately had a flashback moment…to 2007 – I was nine months pregnant with @amaranwuneli and @mezuo_nwuneli was recovering from a serious injury, so I was driving him to the hospital on a regular basis for his surgeries, check-ups and physical therapy on the same 194! This was one of the darkest periods in my life! I am grateful to God, and my amazing siblings @oadaora , @unaosili1 , @nwando @oaneto and close friends that prayed for us and stood by us. My sister - @unaosili called everyday with one message – “The fight is fixed and we know who the winner is!” 19 years later, @mezuo_nwuneli is walking, running and in great health and @amaranwuneli is thriving. The minute the 2007 and 2026 scenes flashed in my mind – I burst into a song of thanksgiving! If you are going through a dark period, remember this… 1. The grace of God – Amarachi – will see you through. Hold on to your faith and stand strong – rooted in the Word and prayer! 2. The testing period is actually preparation for greater heights in your journey through life – as James 1: 2-4 reminds us – “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” 3. There is healing through the university of life. We often say – this too shall pass – and time heals all wounds – and they sound cliché – but there is some truth to this…and time does often soften the blow of bad memories or tough encounters. Your heart and mind can heal, if you give yourself the chance to let it! 4. Never stop giving thanks through it all! Sending hugs to you…this song by @mercychinwo captures our testimony so well - and was written with Amara's name in it...Amara onye nwem!

It was a joy to come home after visiting four cities in one week to copies of this amazing book - “Genius at Scale: How Great Leaders Drive Innovation!” It was even more special to open it up and to see my name listed among some of the great minds of our generation! Truly humbled and honored that the story of the creation of @africanfoodchangemakers - and how this vision is evolving was included in this amazing book under the catalysts section! Thank you to my dear mentor, the amazing Professor Linda Hill @harvardhbs , and the dream team - Jason Wild and Emily Tedards for this great contribution to leadership and business literature! Thank you to the @africanfoodchangemakers team, board, entrepreneurs, and partners for embracing this vision! Thank you to the @sahelconsulting for standing with us through the journey!!! Now your story is being told on global platforms!!!! To learn more about this book and to order your copy, visit https://lnkd.in/dg6qJ-jh In addition, check out /. As reviewed on Amazon - Genius at Scale breaks new ground, showing how moving from generating new ideas to actually scaling them involves cocreation—collaborating, experimenting, and learning with others both inside and beyond the boundaries of the organization. This requires three distinct types of leadership: - Leader as Architect: shaping culture and capabilities for cocreation - Leader as Bridger: building partnerships across teams and organizations - Leader as Catalyst: activating and cultivating movements across ecosystems The authors vividly profile these three types of leaders with individuals from all kinds of companies—from Mastercard, Pfizer, and Procter & Gamble to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Sampark Foundation, and ANA spinoff avatarin—who illustrate the mindset, skills, and digital savvy needed for leading in a world.

February 14th this year is truly special…because in a few weeks, I will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary to my darling @mezuo_nwuneli . This essentially means that we have celebrated over 25 valentines together. I thank God for the gift of Mezuo Nwuneli – my chairman, wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, and gift to our world. I thank God for giving us the opportunity to find love in our youth and to sustain it through the university of life. Interestingly, after 25 years, it is difficult to surprise @mezuo_nwuneli . This year, he told me all the things that I should not do to try to surprise him! When you have known someone for so long…it makes it hard to plan any surprises…so I am simply going to share 25 reasons why I am grateful for the love of my life and husband of my youth. Your passion for Nigeria and Africa’s growth and development 14. Your concern for our safety and well-being 15. Your maturity and wisdom 16. Your love for learning and reading 17. Your commitment to exercise and healthy living 18.Your respect for my family and close friends 19.Your patience with my idiosyncrasies 20. How you oversee the repairs and physical structure of our home 21. How you have handled our taxes for years 22. Your commitment to living a more balanced life, and teaching me how to do the same 23. Your stewardship and leadership of MUNA Foundation and generosity towards causes that matter 24.
