Our recent report, “Beyond the Labels,” asks AAPI women across ethnicities their thoughts on abortion care – who, how, when, and where they should get it. The majority of AAPI women support abortion access without shame, stigma, or political interference.

We’ve been building power with AAPI women and girls for 30 years.
In 1996, more than 100 visionary AAPI women - our founding sisters – came together in Los Angeles to form NAPAWF. Three decades later, we continue to advocate for a world where all women, girls and gender expansive people have the power and resources to make healthy decisions about our bodies, families, and communities.
Photo dump of our policy team’s busy week in DC advocating for AANHPI women, girls, & gender expansive people! We:
📊 Hosted a congressional briefing about our latest @intersectionsofourlives research with @latinainstitute and @blackwomensrj . This poll examined how Black, Hispanic, and AANHPI women are experiencing affordability, healthcare, democracy, and reproductive freedom at this moment (big thanks to @repemiliasykes , @repemilyrandall , and @repjudychu for making this briefing possible!)
📜 Presented at the APAICS Legislative Leadership Summit, speaking on the panel “Advancing Women’s Health: From Maternal Care to Menopause.”
🖼️ Gave a statement at the commission studying the creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History & Culture
💬Participated in the @ncapagrams week of action!
🏛🗣️We’re bringing the voices and priorities of Black, Latine, and AANHPI women to Capitol Hill.
At our congressional briefing earlier this week, @intersectionsofourlives@latinainstitute@napawf@blackwomensrj and Ipsos shared new polling on how women of color are experiencing affordability, health care, democracy, and reproductive freedom.
📊 The findings are clear: More than half of women of color say the American Dream feels out of reach — and nearly 9 in 10 are worried about affording basic needs.
Our communities are navigating rising costs, barriers to care, attacks on reproductive freedom, and efforts to silence our votes — all at once. Black, Latine, and AANHPI women do not live single-issue lives, and policy solutions cannot be single-issue either.
That is why we are grateful to the Reproductive Justice Task Force, @demwomencaucus@officialcapac and @hispanic.caucus@repemiliasykes@repemilyrandall and @repjudychu for making this briefing possible and standing with us.
Together, we are making our voices heard: #ReproductiveJustice must be front and center in addressing the issues women of color are navigating every day.

AANHPI women+ may have healthcare coverage on paper, but that doesn’t necessarily translate to having healthcare access in real life. Many still face major barriers, like lack of in-language services or growing fear within immigrant communities due to ICE enforcement.
In order for care to be truly accessible, we need systems, resources and policy in place to ensure AANHPI women can safely access affordable, language-accessible and culturally-responsive care without fear.
Watch this clip featuring our own @cbaaler as well as leaders from @kff_org and GCIR as they what equitable healthcare access really looks like for AANHPI communities.
ICYMI: the @the75million & @npwf just released a report diving into telework, its impacts on gender equity, and who, exactly, makes up the majority of remote workers. The findings? The overwhelming majority of teleworkers are women, and the benefits of telework, particularly for working mothers and disabled women, can’t be overstated.

Happy Mother's Day 🤍
Every parent wants to build a better future for their child.
For over 150 years, the guarantee of birthright citizenship has allowed families to put down roots and invest in their communities.
We're fighting to protect it.

Happy Mother’s Day to moms everywhere! From tending to bruised knees to bruised hearts to packing lunches and coordinating schedules to all of the unseen, untold sacrifices you’ve made, we cannot extend enough appreciation and love for all you do.
We know moms deserve better. We’re fighting for a world where moms have economic security and a true work/life balance; where they can make the best choices when it comes to reproductive care & family planning; and where motherhood is celebrated, valued, and uplifted.
(And if you haven’t already—call your mother! ♥️)
What do working moms need to thrive? We asked moms on the 75 Million Project. Here’s what they said.
On Mother’s Day, and everyday, working moms deserve paid sick time, equal pay, affordable childcare, and safe workplaces.
On behalf of @the75million , we’re wishing all the moms out there a Happy Mother’s Day. 💐💖

Meet Melanie! ✨ 👋 She serves as NAPAWF’s Special Assistant and Board Liaison and plays a huge role in getting events and meetings up and running. She describes her role as being “behind the scenes,” but let’s not get it confused—she’s integral to making NAPAWF’s work possible!
A new report by @the75Million and @npwf found that telework isn’t fading. In fact, it’s becoming increasingly crucial to keep women in the workforce, with the flexibility helping them manage caregiving, maintain economic security, and access new opportunities.
But decisions regarding telework and in-office policies have largely been handled by individual businesses, who aren’t always using data to shape policy.
This latest report goes over telework statistics and policy recommendations to ensure telework remains equitable and accessible. Read the highlights and check out the full report at the link in our bio!
Lorrayne Mavromatis, a former executive at MrBeast’s media company, just filed a federal lawsuit alleging years of sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, and wrongful termination. This treatment is horrific–and unfortunately, it’s still a common experience for women across the workforce.
We’re glad to see this lawsuit gaining national attention. Now, we need to keep the momentum going. As the EEOC turns its attention to prioritizing complaints from white men, women are still facing workplace discrimination and harassment that threatens their economic security & traps them in abusive workplaces.
We need to keep speaking up. We need to keep pushing for workplaces where women are free from discrimination or fear of retaliation.
Be part of the movement! Head to @the75Million to stay up-to-date on what comes next and help hold leaders accountable.
