At our congressional briefing earlier this week, @intersectionsofourlives@latinainstitute@napawf@blackwomensrj and Ipsos shared new polling on how women of color are experiencing affordability, health care, democracy, and reproductive freedom.
📊 The findings are clear: More than half of women of color say the American Dream feels out of reach — and nearly 9 in 10 are worried about affording basic needs.
Our communities are navigating rising costs, barriers to care, attacks on reproductive freedom, and efforts to silence our votes — all at once. Black, Latine, and AANHPI women do not live single-issue lives, and policy solutions cannot be single-issue either.
That is why we are grateful to the Reproductive Justice Task Force, @demwomencaucus@officialcapac and @hispanic.caucus@repemiliasykes@repemilyrandall and @repjudychu for making this briefing possible and standing with us.
Together, we are making our voices heard: #ReproductiveJustice must be front and center in addressing the issues women of color are navigating every day.

I was proud to be with her lawyer during today’s hearing in DC and grateful for our incredible team who has been working on this matter with such skill and care. Our fight will go on until she is finally back home with her family.
I am deeply heartbroken to learn Kevin passed away today, not long after being reunited with his parents. Thanks to the love and power of our community, he died surrounded by his family.
