: somewhere in the midst of flying into NY from LA to get a new piece done to close @ycfdance at @thejoycetheater in under a week, i managed to come up with a new one in the middle of the night in my hotel room. not such a tall order, as i have crashed out to this song since the second it released, as there aren’t many hills i won’t die on. getting this one out was pure and utter therapy. 🙏🏻 thank you to everyone at @stepsonbroadway for coming out on a very cold, rainy late night to dance this with me. there is nothing like NY energy, nothing like Steps enegy, and there is NOTHING like my girl @nae.bowen . nae nae, you are pure magic and spending this week with you was nothing but joy. proud of you, always. 💜 to anyone that can relate to this song, i hope this offers you comfort ; what and how much you give to others isn’t always returned, but it’s always exactly who you are. ✨ *link to videos in my IG story tomorrow !
