It’s no secret that one of my favorite things in life is to watch my students/children dance! It makes all of the stressful days and work worth it. Every single second of stress disappears when I watch you all dance! It’s a magical feeling when everything you’ve hoped for and invested in turns out not only the way you hoped but so much better than you dared hope. Along with everything else I wish for you, my beloved family, I hope you can someday experience watching your dreams come true the way that I have, every day and moment that I spend with you. I just watched Emergence this afternoon. I know our students are crazy good, and my favorite thing is watching them dance. It never fails to remind me of how important and incredible what I get to do each day is. To the dancers, YESSSS! You are the reason i wake up each day. To the production team, the people in the dark who give so much of themselves to make our dancers shine (We have the best production department in the world!), and to the Choreographers, I’m so inspired by you all. I’m proud to have played a small part in what brought you to this day. Thank you to all, you have my heart, passion and my care for your futures. Because that’s what you are, the FUTURE!
Every year I have the privilege of mentoring our seniors in their final project, Senior showcase. Being a part of this journey is incredibly special for me, thank you to the village who brought them here to this moment. I got to also share this class this year with Prof. Evans and again I feel so lucky to work with the best colleagues in the world!
