Our music video has just won Best Post Production and VFX 2026 at @kinsalesharkawards in the international category! It’s a massive honour and a huge achievement that wouldn’t have been possible without a team of incredibly talented collaborators. As some of you know, Imogen and I spent nearly 2 years in post-production, mainly working after hours. So many artists went above and beyond to deliver the best possible results, and I personally learnt so much through the process. It was painful at times but deeply rewarding, and helped me understand that the people you meet along the way are everything really (thanks @alphe.stael for reminding me of that). Thank you @imogenheap for an unbelievable professional opportunity, endless patience and your faith in me! Feels like a dream, did that gig really happen @roundhouseldn last month? Here is some more proof: Myself and the brilliant @ireenamnes having a moment to ourselves, improvising with whatever comes. Absolutely one of my favourite bits of the night, to just be present, with everyone in the room. Not trying to remember lyrics or what the next section is… or what chord to move to… just to be out of time and space together. Even though we only had a few minutes, it went to places i really enjoyed and it brought out some primal dance moves! @ireenamnes and I have some plans for more improvised sets starting later this year. Please follow @himgoneape if you enjoy this side of what I’m starting to do more of. I’m getting the courage slowly, thanks to friends like @ireenamnes , @reggiewatts , @serenepianist , @leoabrahams @nilspettermolvaer this last year or so having extended jams with me. For decades I’ve been wanting to focus on my improvisation set up and to do these as live public performances, not just at home with pals. The lives of my little songs continue to amaze me, how they go into places I’d never expect. Evidently continuing on even years after their release and Just For Now is one that has had such a mad journey. “Smoked Away My Brain” with @asaprocky and @instaclam is one of these. It came out in 2023 and when people go to DSPs to listen to my music this one often comes up first as it’s had over a billion plays! So for fun last week @roundhouseldn the band and I did a little musical coda after Just For Now (which it samples) and used the sample from “Smoked away my brain” to sing my own version, singing (and reading!) London–Hackney is out now! The first single from Nils Petter Molvær’s new album Be Quiet, featuring Imogen Heap. A duo collaborative album built across nine tracks with nine distinct artists including Imogen Heap and John Paul Jones, recorded in cities spanning Bangkok, Rome, Berlin and London. Release date: 10 July.

It’s an absolute joy to announce that we have won not 1, not 2 but 3 Webby Awards! 🤩 First time I’ve ever won an award for a music video and it’s all because of your crazy ambitious idea @dariakorsak and your mad skills for seeing it through at every stage. You worked so incredibly hard and to see that dedication recognised on such a global stage feels incredibly justified! You are a highly deserving beautiful person. Not bad for your directorial debut!! A massive THANK YOU to @deadbeatfilms and @deadbeatboris for their help with live-action and co-development @thewebbyawards for the nominations and the wins…and to everyone who voted for I AM__ for the people’s choice! ✨ Some big news ✨ I AM ___, a 14-minute music video I directed, edited and co-produced for Imogen Heap, has been nominated for two Webby Awards – in the Art & Experimental and Weird categories. Out of 13,000+ entries, only 5 projects made it into each category. It was a massive collective effort, and it wouldn’t have been possible without a group of incredibly talented artists, the support of Deadbeat Films, and above all, Imogen Heap herself. As many of you know, I’m currently living in the UK on a temporary protection visa for displaced Ukrainian citizens, and it doesn’t lead to permanent residency. I’m applying for a Global Talent visa to stay here long-term, and a Webby win would be one of the qualifying awards I need to make that happen.
