48 hours to make a cinematic, emotive docu-style ad capturing a world first for electric aviation? Challenge accepted. We’ve been working with pioneers of electric aviation, @verticalaerospace since 2021, back when the aircraft existed as CAD drawings and big dreams. Capturing the world’s first ever two-way transition flight this week felt like a true full circle moment. When Director @deadbeatboris called for five camera units on the ground, a chase helicopter shooting slow motion, and a second helicopter rigged with a Red Raptor operated by the legends at GB Helicopters, it was no small ask. For producer @producertoma , it was a serious logistical challenge, but he pulled it out the bag. It’s been an honour to document Vertical Aerospace’s journey so far, and we’re excited for the next chapters ahead. Restorative Sunday trails to recover from a week of outings.

January on a plate 🍽️ starting 2026 with a tour of London’s best, from 3-star masterpieces to the perfect roast chicken and too many Tomatinis to count 🫠 @toumrotisserie elevated rotisserie at its best. The hummus is elite (unique touch on the crispy chickpea crunch) and the chicken is perfectly juicy. Dip everything in the signature Toum & Jus. A bit pricey for chicken, but worth the try nonetheless. @corebyclaresmyth a masterclass in British elegance. Highly recommend the Classic Tasting Menu (the Potato & Roe and the Lamb Carrot are highlights for a reason). Being greeted by Clare herself is a very special touch, and the wine pairing was absolutely insane. We had to write down every bottle. @luso.restaurant a standout new opening for Portuguese cuisine. The Piri Piri Baby Chicken was unbelievably tender, and the Chourizo is top-tier. Honestly skip the lobster rice hype (a bit too much orange) and stick to the meat & brilliant Portuguese wine list. @lpmlondon if you know, you know. It’s been an insane year so far so I’m still posting from my May folder. Not gonna lie… hosting a yacht party at Cannes was never on the plan when I started out lugging kit across London. This year we ended up out there reconnecting with the friends who gave me my first break in the industry, meeting a bunch of brilliant new people and kicking off the journey into feature number two. One of those how is this my life? moments. Genuinely grateful for the good friends (old and new), the sunshine, the questionable shirts and, most importantly, the films.
