Mackai, the man in demand 🔍 Mackai Sharp (@mackaisharp ) is a 21 year old Māori-Canadian director and multimedia artist based in Paris, France. Working at the intersection of sound and image, his work lives in films, music videos, campaigns, and the spaces in between. Since he broke into the industry shooting for Atlanta based record label Love Renaissance at 17, he’s become a favorite filmmaker for artists such as Liv.e, ShunGu, and more ⭐️ His approach to cinematography is tasteful, always highlighting the artist at the center of the video while experimenting in the edit. It’s a style that doesn’t stray from classic music video tropes while still allowing space for the music and the traits that make the artist unique to breathe.
