This Friday, October 3rd from 6-10pm Join us for the Opening of The Knife’s Edge, a new exhibition at Mirus Gallery, San Francisco. Check out this larger than life painting by @lowrydointhangs Kevin Lowry, and artists from around the globe. Kevin Lowry, originally from the Bay Area, is a Los Angeles based freelance artist and muralist whose production skills are vast. Lowry has tackled a wide range of production jobs all around California as a Scenic Artist since moving to Los Angeles in 2017. In his studio work, Kevin embraces the freedom of painting in a variety of styles with oils or airbrush techniques. He enjoys the fluidity of non conforming subject matter that often reveals otherworldly rendered realities, an eclectic mix of retro elements found through the ages of technology with an engaging and playful spin that is both nostalgic and futuristic. Lowry’s exploration into more realistic 3D renderings feature artificial and natural light effects; vehicles, cityscapes, pop culture and 1990s references that he hopes will bring joy to all who encounter his art.
