I’m excited to be showing this new piece at @abvgallery for the group show “sound waves” opening April 5th.Each piece is inspired by a song of their choice and I picked “cape canaveral” by Conor Oberst. I listened to this song a lot when it came out and I was just getting my art career started and living in Miami so it really reminds me of that time. Here we are 17 years later and I’m still getting my art career started lol. .

For the witchy ones: a careful arrangement of objects from an altar, a flickering flame, and someone caught in a suspended spell. Another piece from our ELIXIR group show, this is @achavalart’s “The Practitioner” (oil on wood panel) in a frame that makes it feel like a moment split in two.If you’re into Alex’s work and this split panel/frame move, DM or email and we’ll send over a current list of his available pieces in our inventory. We also have two works on display in our 14 YEAR ANNIVERSARY exhibition this weekend if you want to see his work in person.
