I grew up skateboarding and it hugely informed the trajectory of my life. It’s such a tight community of outsiders, especially back then when it was not in the mainstream. I discovered my love for art and music through the skateboard lens. I learned the hard lessons of failing a million bloody and painful times before, finally, maybe, succeeding. I got out of my tiny town to explore city’s and skateparks, which sparked my wanderlust and love of travel, which is how I eventually ended up here in Seattle.
I owe a lot to skateboarding and I am stoked to be showing my work with such a pillar of the skate community here in Seattle. I hope you can make it out to see what I’ve been up to and to support the local skate scene here 🙌🙏
I have four original framed pieces, and two exclusive print editions over at @paradigmgs in Philadelphia (and online)

These were the first paintings I made after losing my studio to arson in August. There was a very fresh and overwhelming feeling of loss and hopelessness and making this work was an attempt to find some levity and positivity in a really awful situation. Visual poems about moving through disaster and grief.

This weekend is the last chance to see my solo show at @antlerpdx
Here are all of the new originals I painted for the show, including some of the largest watercolors I have ever done.
I am really proud of this work and honored to show it at such a great space and with such a great gallerist and with such great artists in the adjacent spaces; and it was so special to have my family and friends there for the opening. Truly wonderful.

There are still some pieces that haven’t sold, so if something catches your eye, reach out to the gallery. If you have the chance to see it in person, please do! The scale and detail is so much better off the screen.
