Durante más de tres meses, AEOLIA ha estado expuesta en la sede de @bibliotecas_ic del Instituto Cervantes de Madrid. La exposición, comisariada excepcionalmente por @_roberta.bosco_ junto a @arte.edad.silicio , ha construido —con la participación del público— cinco volúmenes de texto, entendidos como nuevos Quijotes en torno a algunas de las grandes cuestiones de nuestro tiempo: la inteligencia artificial y sus retos, la transición ecológica, la sociedad queer, las civilizaciones libres de conflictos y la colonización espacial. Un complejo proceso tecnológico que culmina con el encapsulado de la primera edición de estos libros en ADN, dentro de la pieza Genotipia Quijotesca V.1. For more than three months, AEOLIA has been exhibited at the headquarters of @bibliotecas_ic at the Instituto Cervantes in Madrid. Curated by @roberta.bosco together with @arte.edad.silicio , the exhibition has generated —through public participation— five volumes of text, conceived as new Quixotes addressing some of the most pressing themes of our time: artificial intelligence and its challenges, the ecological transition, queer society, conflict-free civilizations, and space colonization. A complex technological process that culminates with the encapsulation of the first edition of these books into DNA, within the artwork Genotipia Quijotesca V.1. Many thanks to all the participants who contributed to this collective experiment, and to the entire team who made this exhibition possible. We hope it will now travel from Madrid to the rest of the world. “If being rich is a matter of controlling natural resources, I am the richest person on this planet.” In April 2026 I claimed asteroid 16 Psyche. A 280 km metal body, 500 million km from Earth, valued by NASA at over 10 trillion dollars. I did it through IRIDIA. A Spatial Ready-Made in three acts. A notarized declaration of appropriation, preserved in synthetic DNA. A sonic flag that will reach the asteroid before the NASA probe. The capitalism has convinced us that value lives in objects. It does not. We are living through the most turbulent era in recent history, driven by the possession of minerals, land and territorial appropriations. And the art world is not immune to this logic. But here is what I believe: the collector who acquires a work of art is not buying an object. They are taking a position. Subscribing to something greater than themselves. The survival of entire bodies of thought depends on that decision.
