By the time @mitchellsaron steps onto the strip, the match has already played out, dozens of times, in careful detail, sketched in the margins of his notebook.
A sabre fencer and one of handful of Filipino-Americans to qualify for the Olympics, Mitchell does not treat fencing as a sport so much as a psychological experiment: equal parts muscle memory and clairvoyance.
In a sport built on speed and solitude, where no one is coming to save you mid-bout, Mitchell has found a way to turn inward and still reach out, to carry not only his ambitions, but the weight of being first and being counted.
The Brains & Brawn Issue sharpens this declaration into theory and form, presenting excellence in Southeast Asian men not as inheritance but as a conscious invention, shaped equally by introspection and impact.
Mitchell Saron is living proof.
Pre-order the limited-edition Brains & Brawn cover starring Mitchell Saron at the link in bio, available until June 5.

Another wedding project for Bryan & Joanna Tan 🤍
Created two marks for them:
(1) a clean, cohesive BJT monogram
(2) a radial monogram derived from the first—transformed into a soft, floral emblem
Paired with a classic serif for BRYAN and JOANNA—subdued and graceful just like the couple.
