The 1% Campaign, hosted by Civil Art (@civilart.nyc ) and Elio Kennedy-Yoon (Elioky_), is a social media–driven fundraising initiative inviting Asian American communities and allies to become the 1% by showing up for and supporting Asian American initiatives. Inspired by the reality that Asian Americans account for only 1% of reported cultural engagement, this campaign reframes 1% as a call to action rather than a statistic.
From May 11 to June 12, 2026, every donation of $1 to Civil Art (through any channels) will be listed as a donor on Civil Art’s public website. Donors’ names will also be printed in a physical exhibition catalog when it is published in 2027.
A minimum of $10 through TapKat enters you into the 1% Campaign sweepstakes for the chance to win prizes from our brand partners.

Your contribution does more than give you the chance to win exclusive prizes from participating brands. It helps build Luminous Path, a major fundraising exhibition produced by Civil Art this summer at Rockefeller Center, while also ensuring your name becomes part of the project through publication in a future book.
Funds raised will support Civil Art in continuing to champion emerging API artists, writers, and curators, while also supporting Apex for Youth in providing mentorship, education, and mental health resources to Asian American youth from low-income and immigrant backgrounds.
No donation is too small when we show up together.

DOU Night: Elio Live in NYC
Beyond film and contemporary art, DOU ART CLUB introduces DOU Night — a new annual summer series dedicated to live music and performance in New York City.
We’ve always believed an Art Club should be more than exhibitions and screenings.
The presence of live performance — music, improvisation, people sharing a room for one night — completes our original vision for DOU.
On May 14, Elio Kennedy-Yoon joins NYU jazz musicians Yueyang Chen and Alv for an intimate live performance at the Opera America.

♥️With a special guest.

After nearly two decades of heartbreaking research, I have decided that it’s time to reveal my findings about the Fuckboy Epidemic plaguing our communities. I’m honored to share our first trailer with you today, as well as to let you all know that we are going to have our WORLD PREMIERE at the Brooklyn Film Festival!
Anatomy of a f*ckboy follows a young director, as she makes a documentary delving into ELI, a misunderstood charming queer person who has recently had a smear campaign launched against them. As the filming commences, the director realizes that she might have been duped and has fallen for a f*ckboy who is using her.
