Loop 306 got to stitch with the Phillies this week! 😍⚾️ we customized Lululemon belt bags for guests at the preview party celebrating renovations in the stadium, including this New Era team store. And it was a blast! This event checked off so many bucket list items for me: stitching for Phillies players, exec team members, and their guests, working with an entire team of chainstitchers & assistants, being in the same room as Phillies sports legends…!!! It was an incredible night ❤️ It was truly a joy to work with everyone involved ☺️ Massive thanks to my Loop 306 team and to @thisiskatalyst for believing in me to take this on—I am so thankful for your partnership! I’m thrilled to finally be back in baseball season so LET’S GO PHILS! ❤️ #phillychainstitcher #phillies #loop306 #chainstitchembroidery

So pumped to share this custom jacket I stitched for @yelyahwilliams ! I’d never stitched pixels before but her Y2K-inspired website gave me a reason to try and I think I would do it again 😎 The jacket also features tour dates from when she played with @paramore at the old Electric Factory, plus the two dates from sold-out solo shows at @franklinmusichall , all on this vintage EF bomber. This was my first gift project for an artist so imagine my surprise and delight to see footage of Hayley wearing the jacket out and absolutely getting down at @sweet45philly with @tierrawhack the night after the first concert!!! Swipe to see that and a shot of her in a post about the event from @phillyinqfood 😍🍦🎵💿 Huge thanks to @boweryphilly for this incredible opportunity! 🧡🧡🧡 #chainstitchembroidery #philadelphiachainstitcher #egodeathatabacheloretteparty #customjacket #loop306

Loop 306 officially turned 1 on Saturday! 🥳 and now that I have these incredible new headshots from @aesthetic_griff , it’s time for a little reintroduction! My name is Emily and Loop 306 is my chainstitch embroidery studio. The name is a reference to a roadway in my hometown of San Angelo, TX, a place I still love to return to. I am now based in Philadelphia, a city that continues to delight, mystify, and fascinate me on the daily. I first learned about chainstitch embroidery when @ftlonesome presented at @iconconference in 2016. I got my first machine (a vintage Singer) in 2023, started Loop 306 in 2024, & bought my second machine (a new Chareco) this summer in 2025. I’m also moving into my first official studio space (517) in @buildingbok on Nov. 1! None of this would have been possible without all the opportunities that have come my way in the past year. I am so thankful for each & every one! I have a background in illustration and hope that next year brings even more chances for me to fully employ that. Chainstitching has allowed me to continue to be creative while also working through feelings of burnout & exploring what “my style” really means these days. I am very happy to be spending so much more time making tactile pieces and less time on my laptop & iPad—it’s cool to see my creativity come out in different ways when I’m working with my hands. What else about me? I’m a semi-pro roller skater, part of the duo @rocksteadyrollers with @lovecitymo 👯‍♀️ We also play in a circus band together called @serpentidifesta (I play fiddle). I love to hike and don’t do it enough, and I ran my first half marathon this year with plans to do many more. My dad used fountain pens during his 40+ years long career and he’s passed that niche interest on to me (ask me about my growing collection 🤓). I’ve recently become a Real Baseball Fan™️ and love the @phillies even when they break my heart. And I am so very grateful for the supportive creative community I’ve found here in Philly! ❤️ Thanks for following along & I hope to share more exciting updates from Loop 306 as we enter year 2! #chainstitchembroidery #chainstitching #philadelphiachainstitcher #meettheartist

A couple caps for my pal Ryder! When he took my headshots last year, I asked if he would be open to doing a trade, some chainstitching from me for photos from him. He was up for it so these caps are the result of that! He gave me great direction on how to execute all the elements for these pieces and I love how these allowed me to combine so much of what I do - both chenille and chainstitch, stitching full-color designs as well as single-line script. It was fun to put all of that into one piece! Thanks again to @aesthetic_griff for the incredible headshots (plus some great photos included here—the last 4 shots are his) and being open to this trade! Hoping these caps get lots of use as you continue to get booked for photography gigs! 🌸📸 #chainstitchembroidery #philadelphiachainstitcher #loop306 #customcap

Loop 306 provides live stitching for all kinds of events, including corporate parties! Since last year I’ve stitched at three different client appreciate events with @epocrates , personalizing branded tote bags while folks chatted, snacked, and met their remote colleagues in person. There have been so many wonderful things about having a studio at @buildingbok but this was extra special—I got to design & chainstitch the Spring 2026 Open Studios flyer! The combination of illustration, design, and stitching was so rewarding, really putting my style into the work and creating this flyer in an unconventional way. You definitely realize the difference between making digital work and making something tactile when then it needs to fit into different formats and also translated into Spanish 😅 but it was honestly a fun challenge and I’m so happy with the end result. I feel very appreciative of @kelleygarrard and the @scoutltd team believing in me to make this piece! 💚 Come out to Bok on May 8th for all the fun that is Open Studios! Check out the flyer in person to see the finer details, and stop by studio 517 to get something stitched for yourself or just to say hi. Let me know if I’ll see you there! Thanks to @beawalling for helping me finish the edges to get this piece ready to hang ☺️ #chainstitchembroidery #philadelphiachainstitcher #bokopenstudios #loop306

This year, I finally learned how to chenille stitch! This technique is most recognizable in the big letters on the front of letterman jackets (scroll to the end to see my own beloved high school letter jacket 💙🧡). The machine creates these big, fluffy loops that can unravel easily and are tricky to secure on the back, which is why most often you see chenille (also called moss stitch) stitched onto felt and then finished with one or two more layers of backing. The result is a substantial patch that is kind of stiff, perfect for letterman jackets that are classically made with a thick wool shell. I love the overall effect 😍 Bok Open Studios is coming up on May 8th and I’m going to try and have a patch for each letter of the alphabet to sell for the occasion! Let’s see how far I can get 😄 Stop by studio 517 in @buildingbok on May 8th between 5-9 PM to see what I have available! #chainstitchembroidery #openstudios #loop306 #chenillepatches

Doing something a little different next Sunday—I’ll be live chainstitching as a vendor at the Philly Vintage Flea! For this event, you can BYO garment or purchase something at the Flea to get stitched. I can do names, initials, and select flash designs. Pricing starts at $25 for stitching. This will be a first come, first served event so come early to guarantee your spot—I’ll likely have to cut off orders at some point to wrap up at 5! Woven, non-stretch, mid-weight fabrics are best. 1-3 stitched elements to keep the line moving. DM me with any questions! 🪡 Live chainstitching at Philly Vintage Flea 🗓️ Sunday, March 29, 12-5 PM 📍 Greater Philadelphia Expo Center & Fairgrounds in Oaks, PA 🎟️ Purchase tix at @phillyvintageflea See youse there! What an utter delight to stitch robes & sleep masks for the folks at the Cosmo Sleepover last week 😍📚❤️ Huge thanks to @cosmopolitan @cosmoreads and @theoceanac for having me at this lovely event! The vibe really was the giddy buzz I remember from sleepovers of my youth, made even better in this version with champagne and a scheduled spa date for all the guests ✨such a fun concept! This was my first time in Atlantic City and we rounded out the day with a visit to Tony’s Baltimore Grill which was definitely a vibe switch but a great experience in its own right 🍝 absolutely returning someday for the clams casino pizza 😛 #chainstitchembroidery #loop306 #cosmoreads
