Get your gel pens ready...the yearbo[o]k is here! ⭐ This one is extra special to us, as it commemorates 10 years of teamwork and community at Bok 🥳
Released every year since 2021, the yearbo[o]k is a fun way for us to look back at successes and memories over the course of the past year 🗓️ Visit the link in our bio to flip through 2025 with us! 🖇️
A huge thank you to our Director of Creative Marketing @kelleygarrard for bringing this special project together 🩷 #buildingbok #bok10years
Walking the halls of Bok you’re certain to see Philly dressed to impress, and Open Studios is no exception! ♥️ We had to stop and snap a few pics along the way 📸✨ THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for one of our favorite nights of the year. We’ll see you next time! #buildingbok
🔮 Ok, so imagine this: It’s a Friday night. You and the group chat made it to @buildingbok ’s Open Studios. It’s a vibe, it’s a scene.
You make your way to Room 209, where you’re suddenly immersed in the world of equitable budgeting for the City Budget—hello! Everyone’s getting a survey, we’re all filling out our perspectives, putting our voices on paper because our opinions count.
Make this imagination your worst-kept secret and invite your community to fill out the survey. Every entry is a chance to win yoga classes or gift cards to incredible eateries.
Soon, Philly’s budget can start with community opinions and public testimonies before decisions are made about where the dollars go.
Fill out the survey digitally: /survey
or in person at our pop-up in LOVE Park. Visit us during our operating hours!
Multidisciplinary artist Vianney Lopez (@artsoforigin ) has found a new home at Bok! 🏠 Working through music, clay, and 2D animation, she creates works that connect the origin of the earth to ancestral memory and music.
She also opens her process up to new audiences, teaching workshops for those who feel drawn to art as a way to the ancestral wisdom within themselves and our planet! 🌎
This spring she’s feeling inspired by “nature’s seasonal transition, the return of birdsong, the warmth of the sun, the quiet growth of plants, and the reawakening of trees.” 🌳
And if you’re feeling inspired by Vianney’s work, you can join her for a workshop next week where you’ll handcraft your own ceramic instrument over the course of four days! 🎵✨ #buildingbok
