Beyond honored to be invited to be a part of this year’s @phillystylezine Dynamic Women issue! Huge thank you to the mastermind himself @john_colabelli for creating a dynamic platform that celebrates women in business in such a holistic way…and massive shout out to @philkramerphoto (a.k.a. Dr. Phil) for making me look like I’ve gotten more than 4.5 hours of sleep a night this season.
My pipe dream is that that women realize that what is for you will always be for you– and that someone else being successful isn’t a threat. When more women work together, collaborate and actively look for ways to support each other– everyone wins.
One of my dear friends likes to say that “all ships rise together” and I think that’s true of how women will grow across all industries. I think it’s less about representation and more about impact– representation doesn’t mean much unless your voice is actually heard and your input is acknowledged.

Katie Everett’s journey didn’t begin with a blueprint for entrepreneurship. It began with a love for provoking emotion through moments, spaces and experiences intentionally designed to leave a mark. That passion, she says, is so deep she would do the work for free if she could. As founder and president of Katalyst Productions, she has channeled that obsession into a boutique agency specializing in high-impact live events, brand activations and original concept development.
Happy 10th Birthday to… us!! 🍾 It’s been a decade of late nights, big swings, and turning untested (sometimes unhinged) ideas into unforgettable experiences. This one’s for the clients who trusted us, the partners who believed in us, and our die-hard team who never stops pushing the bar higher. We’ve been shaped, stretched, and strengthened by every event, every challenge, and every celebration along the way. Ten years down, and we’re just getting warmed up. To everyone who’s been a part of our story…THANK YOU.

Designed with sustainability in mind. Back of house composting, recyclable serviceware with guided recycle stations, and a partnership with Sharing Excess ensured leftover food was safely collected and redistributed after being kept at proper temperatures all day. The experience also featured a chef collaboration with Chef Dan from Farina Pasta, composted plant décor, and rented plants and trees returned to the greenhouse, proving that thoughtful planning can leave a lasting impact beyond the event itself.
Affectionately dubbed a “food festival in the spirit of a music festival,” the Philadelphia Inquirer’s inaugural Food Festival featured pop up performances from Zinadelphia, BWC Sounds and Opera Philly– with Philly’s very own Snacktime bringing down the house to close out the show. The performance lineup was exactly what you’d expect– curated, intentional, eclectic and proudly rooted in Philly culture.

Every well produced experience begins with the right team behind it. Our team combines true professionalism and character (I.e., doing the right thing) in a way that makes each event and activation feel genuine and authentic. Our insanely amazing humans makes it all look effortless, while giving it everything they’ve got behind the scenes each day!

Iconic Philadelphia food moments– but make it a whole moment. Concepted and art directed by the team at The Inquirer, we worked with the venue team and local wheatpaste artists to build out an original, time capsule art installation featuring original and iconic food moments from the City of Brotherly Love. A truly immersive photo moment with a nod to Philadelphia’s deep-rooted history as a food destination.
Creating authentic opportunities for guests to engage with both the client brand and sponsor brands in unique and memorable ways...we worked with the in-house sponsorship team to create an Uber-branded arrival moment marked by an oversized custom, LED trimmed logo installation and a branded hospitality moment providing locally roasted hot coffee and hand-crafted mochas to guests as they waited in line. We worked with the client to create a branded claw machine experience for subscribers where they could win exclusive merch, gift cards, etc.
Environmental branding at full scale. For the Inquirer’s first ever Food Fest, we executed a complete venue takeover— wrapping the space in dynamic visuals and branding across print and digital real estate. The result? An immersive experience where the brand was deconstructed, re-interpreted and creatively integrated throughout the entire space…an immersive and thoughtful branded experience with subtle touches at every turn.

Leave it to the @phillyinqfood dream team to concoct an event that brings Philly’s best chefs, restaurants and bakers all together under one roof. That restaurant you can’t get a reservation at for at least three months? Yeah, they were there. Iconic and up-and-coming chefs collaborating to create “one day only” off-menu items? Check. Hands-on pasta making and cake decorating classes? Yep, that too. The blogger-inspired Glizzy Gauntlet hot dog contest that no one knew they absolutely needed in their lives? Done and DONE. In short: come hungry, leave happy, and start counting down the days until they do it all again.

“A feast so good, we’re still talking about it.” The Philadelphia Inquirer’s innaugural Food Fest was pure Philly energy, and it served it up in a BIG way. From exclusive collabs and off-menu bites by the city’s hottest chefs, hands-on demos and culinary classes, celebrity appearances, and live music performances that brought the house down...we’re reliving the region’s biggest celebration of flavor and culture (and counting down the days to this year’s event).

We. Just. Can’t. There are floral arrangements...and then there are these. Jaw-dropping, larger-than-life statement pieces...whimsically styled as an homage to a throwoback aprés ski aesthetic with a hint of holiday glam...she’s gorgeous and we can’t stop staring.
