@oliviajade wanted to start a company on her own terms. That meant prioritizing patience.
Its name, @opiccola , is inspired by the Italian word “piccola,” meaning little—a nod to her philosophy that a small amount of product should go a long way.
While investors have already begun reaching out, Jade said she has no immediate plans to take outside funding. For now, she wants to focus on proving the concept before reassessing what investment, if any, might look like in the future.
