Saucony | The Runners @saucony No production audio! When we started on this project, we knew it was going to be a big job to make this film feel real and alive without receiving any audio from set whatsoever. Every footstep, voice, and background sound had to be recreated the way it would for a film or TV show. @ericcrepeau.wav grabbed a laptop, a mic, and a folding table, and recorded a full pass of footsteps outside. @basura created incredibly intricate backgrounds across the whole film, and tackled the hugely complex bicycle sequence. Our goal was to make everything feel textured and lifelike, instead of clean. We hope you enjoy! The full film of Land of Lost Toys is finally out in the world. 🐾 Huge thanks to the @latimes & @latimesstudios for acquiring the film and helping bring this story to a wider audience. This project came from spending time with the people in Detroit who quietly dedicate their lives to rescuing stray dogs. What started as a small idea turned into a film about compassion, responsibility, and the powerful bond between people and animals.
