RÜFÜS DU SOL- Pressure Massive team effort on this one and a truly collaborative process led effortlessly by @k.atzki Tryone, Jon and James @rufusdusol with some beautiful and ingenious design by @three60s We spent a week in the studio shooting the band as they rehearsed for their Portola Festival appearance, and then followed it up by reproducing and degrading the footage in various ways with water tanks, mirrors, other analogue formats and various types of projection. Vertex Shot in New York a while back for @sambarkerphoto and @leahmaraproductions Gaffer @davireichman used an array of moving lights and RGB leko’s into various mirrors and reflectors to create this brutalist caustic environment. We created subtle shifts in the motion and color of the reflections with strategically targeted wet downs to paint the concrete walls with a modulating and organic light. “The All Nighter” @theallnighterfilm Spent the summer shooting a feature in the Adirondacks with a special group of people. We faced every possible challenge designed by man or nature in the process of making this film; upstate summer turned into upstate winter; weeks of night shoots in the rain on an island on the edge of the wilderness. Viva @restaurantefridas A special project with special friends, reflecting on gastronomy, music, art and culture. Captured in Guatemala City, Antigua, Sampango and other locations over the summer. Shot on a combination of @reddigitalcinema  Raptor, BMPCC 6k, Kowa Anamorphic and @lvx_badalamenti_optics  prototype Osiris lenses. We chose a fluid approach, with multiple formats, multiple lens sets and just shot whatever felt right for that environment.
