This song is feels pretty special to us since it changed a lot after making a live arrangement for guitar, a live bass and so on. It also went through eigils studio at Mindevej, where a whole new part of the song came out. Was like a gift from above or something like that!

Release announcement!!! The last release of the year on katharsis is a special take on our annual V/A tradition: "My Petswan Remixed" revisits the band @eternal_miaw_ βs debut EP, originally released on the Copenhagen label @petrola_80 , and opens it up through five new interpretations. The duoβs cross-pop, UK-bass-leaning sound becomes a foundation for experimentation, and each artist draws out a different aspect that only shimmered beneath the surface of the originals. Together, these five remixes by @drop_foreverr , @j.ludvigiii , @carolinamiragaia , @jjjacobdk and @linea.vissing offer a quieter, stranger, and more spacious reflection of the original EP. The familiar melodies and textures remain, but theyβre stretched, softened, or reshaped into new forms, showing how flexible miawβs sound becomes when filtered through different hands and imaginations.

Our new EP Akyra is out now at @interceptrecords , and weβre so excited to finally share it with you.
We wrote and produced everything together during a residency in an old monastery in rural France at Paf. The atmosphere of that place ( the long corridors, the echoing chapels, and the quiet presence in every room ) found its way into the recordings. It felt as if the building itself became part of the music.
With Akyra, we wanted to explore the space between our musical worlds. The result became something we call paranormal music: sounds that move between the real and the imagined, the weird and the eerie.
These songs carry traces of that time, that place, and everything that haunted it.
We hope you feel the same strange beauty we felt while creating it.
