On March 6th, Danish artist Alto Aria (Rhizome, Posh Isolation) follows up their latest album Ephemeral (2025) with a new single, "Stars Align", released on Copenhagen-based record label Rhizome. The song is an ode to the impermanence of #emotion and the euphoric moments that stretch into the #dark, clear night sky. It exposes the intrinsic #melancholia of time, embodied by those who dare to remain open-hearted.

"I donāt think AI music is important for the world. It has had a huge impact on the music industry and other industries, though, such as the general entertainment industry. I guess we have not seen the full scale of it yet.
Slopcore.ai is an artistic experiment. I wanted to see if I could do something different and interesting with AI and music, while labeling it for what it is. It is a way to enjoy music, like any other release. But it is also interactive, and the concept is that it adapts to your taste. It is also a reflection on the current state of music streaming services, social media, AI slop, etc."

After their debut (Sunshower) the trio moved from foggy, hypnotic, reverb-like, nonchalant 80ās vibe to a more straightforward sound. Jobseeker is brighter and faster from the last project. But on the other hand, their music still resembles the heavy emotional atmosphere of the #Copenhagen indie scene.
