Today we proudly release Anastasia Kristensen’s debut album Bestiarium Sombre, a beautiful world of anthropomorphic club music where each track embodies a creature with a will of its own. Cinematic techno mutates into bleep, jungle, dubbed-out IDM and high-frequency shrapnel, vivid, strange and unmistakably alive. Across releases for labels including Houndstooth, Turbo and Arcola, Anastasia Kristensen has steadily carved out one of the most individual voices in contemporary club music, while becoming known for her wildly sleek DJ sets at major clubs and festivals worldwide. Last week she officially launched the Bestiarium Sombre live show in Copenhagen, a one-off performance featuring live dance and a fully embodied extension of the album’s quircky and cinematic universe. 🌷 9 tracks of Anastasia’s universe Bestiarium Sombre is out today on digital platforms. The transparent yellow marbled vinyl pressing has been extended until next month, however the preorders are available in all major shops and our bandcamp!
