Can’t quite believe it but we are currently enjoying screening Gowk at BISFF in South Korea 🇰🇷@busanshortfilmfest Seeing the film screen in the most amazing cinemas and with Korean subtitles has been such an incredible experience, as well watching the other films programmed alongside it. Now We Arrive 🏉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 From filming on Monday to delivering by Friday morning of the same week (!) our fastest and craziest post-production turnaround to date. It’s been a whirlwind! Capturing this 100-metre installation stretching the length of a rugby pitch at Scottish Gas Murrayfield was pretty surreal, not least because the sun shone (nearly) all day. Created by artist @claireluxtonart and commissioned by @skyscanner , the piece marks a huge moment for women’s sport in Scotland ahead of the upcoming Six Nations game where the Scottish team will take the pitch at Murrayfield for the first time. Proud to have played a small part in something that celebrates such a historic occasion for women’s sport here in Scotland - we can’t wait to see it screen in the stadium tomorrow. Gowk is going to South Korea ✨✈️ We are thrilled to have been selected to screen at the Oscar-qualifying Busan International Short Film Festival @busanshortfilmfest ! This year 5,077 films were submitted for the International Competition and 40 films were selected. We are soooo pleased that our wee film from Wishaw has found an audience on the other side of the world 🇰🇷

Launched! 🚀 Such an amazing evening at the @say_women rebrand launch. We are so honoured to have had the opportunity to create a film with Media Trust that will bring more visibility to the amazing services at Say Women. The work they do is so vital and Wednesday event reminded us of this with 6 of their young women speaking about their experience 🩷♥️ It felt so special making this with an almost fully female-identifying crew, led by the force of nature that is @jadeangjackman “Together we created a film that brings the voices and experiences of our young women to life. It really shows the resilience that they demonstrate. Gowk – Short Film When a young boy visits his mother in hospital, he begins to uncover a hidden family trauma. Starring Jack Mavin as Boy @katmcd2222 as Mother Strath Martin as Father Martin Docherty as Man Andrew Flanagan as Shopkeeper It was a real privilege to help bring this true story to life during my time in the Sean Connery Talent Lab. Even more so because I got to collaborate with a director I had eerily similar taste with and lots of truly talented people I can't wait to work with again. Drawing inspiration from the works of Bill Douglas, Lynne Ramsay and photographer Raymond DePardon, we placed special focus on creating striking still images that carry the emotional weight of the story.
