Pleased to be sharing this short film showcasing our wonderful studio and some of the key things that we do 🌞 We're so proud of the community and facilities that we've built up over the past five years: it hasn't always been easy but the commitment of our staff and volunteers along with the support from our members and friends has made it possible. We hope we'll be a part of Glasgow's creative scene for many years to come.
Thanks to filmmaker Tim Knights @ootimknightsoo for capturing Print Clan so wonderfully, and to all of our members and students who agreed to being filmed 💕
DRAWN TO PRINT with Fraser Taylor - returning this Summer 2026
Join us for a two-day immersive course exploring large-scale textile printing, guided by internationally renowned artist and long time Print Clan supporter @haxtonstudio .
Working across screen and mono-print techniques, you’ll move between drawing and printing to build layered and expressive yardage of original printed cloth whilst developing your own personal body of work.
The course encourages material exploration, the relationship between art and textiles, and ambitious making within an intensive small-group setting. So whether you’re a beginner or an experienced creative, this workshop is an opportunity to take risks, push your process, and gain insight from one of Scotland’s most innovative artists.
We've added additional dates this year due to demand - with June already sold out, and only one space for July left!
Book the remain spaces now at printclan.co.uk/workshops or via the link in our bio.
We're Hiring! Join our team as our new Workshops Assistant 🥳
We’re looking for a hands-on, organised Workshop Assistant to support the delivery of Print Clan CIC’s Print for Wellbeing Club, whilst supporting the day-to-day activities of the studio, workshops, courses and events.
We’d love to hear from someone with experience in textile screen printing and a strong interest in inclusive community arts practice, willingly to grow with us as we continue expanding our programme and impact within Glasgow’s creative sector.
You'll work part-time for 16 hours per week, on a 12 month fixed term contract paid at the Real Living Wage - joining our small, friendly team of 5!

We’ve been putting our GOCCO printer to good use lately 🖨️
We set up a mini print studio in another local high school's art department, helping students bring their own sketches and drawings to life by printing them onto GOCCO mesh, which is then stretched over DIY frames made from cardboard or wooden embroidery hoops. All ready for washing, re-stretching, and printing with again and again during their studies 👏
A series of beautiful (and sunshine-drenched!) artworks now on display at @strangefieldglasgow 🌞
Created in collaboration with @peek.scot and facilitated by artist and Print Clan member @poppy_nash_ , the six-month project explored archives, memory, and collaborative making with young people aged 14–16 in the East End. We had the joy of supporting the group to screen print their final designs (in only two sessions!! 👏 👏).
Their experiments were exposed onto screens and built up through layers of opaque and transparent inks, bringing together sketches, drawings, and poetry developed across workshops with guest artists and makers.
The final pieces have been stitched together and embroidered, resulting in so many vibrant, collective artworks that captures the spirit of their wonderful group exploration and collaboration - well done!
Looking back on these beautiful multi-colour tea towels we printed for Flourish House at @gamhcommunityhub !
A really rewarding project that saw us adapting our t-shirt carousel to accomodate larger format printing, upgrading to longer platens and bigger screens and lots of @permaset_aqua .
The finished pieces became commemorative Christmas gifts, marking the merger between Flourish House and GAMH Community Hub. The designs are full of character, celebrating the hub’s activities and the people who make it what it is. The more you look, the more fun you spot (our personal favourite is the Henry Hoover)
Only ONE space remaining!! 🚨
Our Textile Screen Printing Beginners Course returns on 5th May, and this is your last chance to join the course before a summer break, running again in autumn ☀️

How fab are these polaroids taken by students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland during their studio induction! 📸
They’re all currently studying on the BA Arts with Community course and have joined Print Clan to explore how printmaking can support their collaborative practice, while also learning more about our Community Interest Company structure and wellbeinG focused programme.
Always so fun to have new groups in the space engaging with our work and sharing their inspiring new ideas ✨
Snapshots from some recent workshops with @impactarts Craft Café ✨
Held in the beautiful Elder Park Library, Craft Café is a weekly art programme for over 60s in Govan, bringing people together through creativity while tackling loneliness and social isolation.
We had lots of fun facilitating screen printing sessions, creating indivudual tote bags and a collaborative banner inspired by the group’s recent projects and activities - even their therapet joined in the fun! 🐶
Check out these adorable, colourful cake characters we’ve had the pleasure of printing recently for beloved bakery @fisheranddonaldson 🍰
Each little guy in the merch range is inspired by F&D’s best-selling baked goods, and beautifully illustrated by @laurenmorsley .
Available also across postcards, mugs, stickers and prints - we've screen printed the t-shirts and totes using @permaset_aqua onto Westford Mill totes and @continentalclothing t-shirts, in four different colourways. A perfect and technical job to put our 4-colour micro-registration t-shirt printing carousel (and our team!) to work 💪
We print small runs of merchandise right here in the studio, with funds reinvested into our social and community work to widen access to screen printing in Glasgow.
And it’s even better when it's printing for fun collaborations like this 💛
Our beginner's workshop runs every month and gives you two full hours to get hands on into textile screen printing in one fun and creative evening ✂️
You can swipe through to see some of the wonderful designs made by prevous participants (and get some inspiration for your own!)
During the class you'll have time to experiment and learn different traditional screen printing techniques, build confidence, and play around before creating your own multi-colour printed tote bag to take home.
If you've ever wanted to visit the studio or fill your weekday evenings with something fun - this session is relaxed and a completely beginner friendly way to learn a new skill 😇
You can book your place via the link in our bio / website 🎟️
